Hi ladies,

I could really use your expertise..

I'm a 30 year old mother of 2 living in Ontario canada.

3 months ago I started getting dull pain in my left breast. It would come and go through out the day and progressively has become worse. The pain changes constantly from an ache to a burning sensation and the occasional sharp pain. The pain does move around and some days I feel it more in the chest wall, ribs or lower shoulder blade. Its so hard for me to pinpoint where the pain comes from.

It is now constant and I'm panicked beyond words.

I have had both an U/S and mammogram with normal results. My Dr belives its stress related but has referred me to a general surgeon who I see on Tuesday. I have no other symptoms, the sore breast is naturally larger and I have a lot of stretch marks from breastfeeding 2 babies. Just constant pain.

I have had a breast infection in the past and its not the same.

I don't know what to expect at this appointment or how I'm to get answers with no physical changes.

Should I request an MRi or punch biopsy?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi Cheer,

Not really any other symptoms. I did have pain in my armpit as well. Also have been having boughts of dizziness as of last (Dont know if the 2 are related).

The best way to describbe it is a burning sensation or even a wet feeling sensastion..

Im so crazy about all of this. The pain is constant and is really affecting my day to day.

What have your Doctors said to you?

Thanks for taking the time to respond :)

    Morning Ladies...

Thanks you Bon and Cheer for your replies.

Bon: The info you copied was very helpful.

The last few weeks I've noticed a slight change in my nipple - But it didnt concern me cause it didnt seem constant. Since Saturday it has been. Its like its pulling down slightly and there is a slight crease. My husband agreed that he saw the change (Which was heart wrenching considering he's always Mr. Brightside).

I do have me general surgeon appointment tommorow morning..

I'm just so afriad... Afriad that he seems something worrysome and afriad that he doesnt see anything and I'm left with all this pain and unanswered questions.

I could really use some advise on how to approach this appointment.

    Thanks again....
