I was diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer. There were three tumors in the breast....one in a lymph node and one that was 3 cm. I found this site soon after diagnosis and came to it many times each day. I was at some of the first get togethers. Is the banner still around? I've signed it a couple times. I know things have changed on here. But I remember being encouraged by posts from survivors and I imagine that is still helpful. So, I want you all to know...there is life after cancer! I did it all.....chemo, mastectomy, radiation, Femara......and that was ten years ago. The treatment is no fun, but you can do it! You can get through this and move on to your bright, new life! I did.

Sachi thanks for posting this!  Messages like this do mean so much, especially on those dark days we all get.  :)  I have just passed my one year cancerversary.  It's been a tough year but my life and perspective has changed so much for the better that I can at least be thankful for that.

A message like this means so much to many who are grasping for hope. It reminds us that many, many do well and move on with their beautiful lives.

Thank you. You did a great thing today. For patients and their loved ones.

Anyone able to beat Saachi? Love the post. I just hit one year since treatment ended on Sunday.

When you get that initial Dx, it is hard to see much further down the road than all the treatment that they have planned for you.  When B/C sisters like you stop back in after some years, it is a good reminder that the day does come when the whole cancer ordeal can be talked about in the past tense.  Congrats on your 10 year milestone!
