Hang in there Julz.
Thats a fab pic!
-
Saw the new baby panda at the zoo today, beyond cute!
-
Lisa, that's so cool, where are the pics?
-
Loved the baby pic, Mary! He's a keeper! 6 1/2 weeks and I will be there for the arrival of our new bundle! Your pic makes me even more excited.
-
-
Here are the pandas..
Mom and Baby...Mom is sound asleep...
-
Marlegal, the grand baby is soooooo cute and what a great picture.
Lisa, love the panda pics and julz4 that star fish is just amazing.
I hope all are doing well.
Hugs, Cheryl
-
Meece, will this be your first grand? Cole is my second, with the first, David, not 5 months old yet. Exciting time in our lives for sure! All my best to you.
-
I envy those of you with grandkids. But, then I envy all of you with kids even more. At least I've had the joy of dozens of kids who asked me to be a part of their lives.
-
Lisa - those waves look like they are getting angry. Love the pics of the pandas.
I love all 7 of my grandchildren. 5 girls and 2 boys. Wish they lived closer, but hopefully they will be moving back this direction before too much longer. Right now 1 girl and 2 boys are in Japan and DH and I are headed that direction in April. The other 4 girls are in Oklahoma and hopefully we will get to see them this summer. Off to bed, hope everyone has a good nights rest and sweet dreams. AJ
-
Marlegal, the bun in the oven is Meece's 2nd grandchild. #1 is a big brother to whoever pops out soon.
-
thanks for the background, love it collect pandas, never been to san deigo watch the feeds tho and go to the one in washington dc as well as the feeds...you made my day and after having chemo yesterday that is wonderful.
-
Actually 'Baby Whoo' is DH and my 3rd, but his daughter has kept our first at a distance. She told me years ago she would be able to make her dad do what she wanted if it came down to seeing his grandchild. (She doesn't care for me at all) But, he is still married to me and we see GS1 a couple times a year, when they get his birthday gifts and when they get their Christmas gifts. So, for all intents and purposes Patch is our #1.
I get to be there when Baby Whoo comes into the world as DH and I are the keepesr of big brother!

YAY Meece for 2.....sorry about Patch!!!
-
Meece - sorry to hear about Patch. Doesn't she realize she is only hurting Patch by not letting him get to know his grandparents? I did and still do not like my first MIL, but even after my 1st husband, her son, died I did not keep my 2 DDs from seeing her and allowing them to spend time with them. The girls have grown up and know why I do not care for her, but they found out about her on their own. I never told them anything negative about her. I think they are better mothers after knowing her and what she was really like. So to me her not caring for you is not a valid reason for not letting Patch spend time with you. I know you are a lot nicer than my 1st MIL and that you love Patch as much as the others. Sorry for the rant, but it touched a nerve. Love you. AJ
-
AJ you are so right, and as I have said to my son, if it wasn't for me there would be no you or your kids....
-
I have a girlfriend whose daughter-in-law didn't like her (you have to know this friend, NO ONE could not like her) and it took many years but they finally worked it out. I am blessed with two wonderful sons in law and i hope i never take them for granted.
-
Pressed ENTER too soon - I wanted to say that I hope all of you who are struggling with issues where you don't or can't see grands as much as you'd like are able to work it out, or your kids/in-laws come to their senses and realize that there's nothing better for a child than grandparent.
-
FYI everyone-Patch is Meece's grandchild she does have contact with. The one she doesn't is a child they don't see much that is Meece's DH's daughter's child.
-
Thanks for clearing that, Eph. I rechecked my post and I had errors. Sorry!
-
this geranium is just going wild.I started it from a cutting..
-
GORGEOUS Lisa!!! Nice dark leaves. Do they like sun or not?? I have problems keeping geraniums looking so healthy.
-
Lisa love the plant. It reminds me of spring, which we are patiently waiting for in the east.
Hope everyone is having a great week.
Hugs, Cheryl
-
In my area, geraniums love the sun and look best when in full sun so they don't have to stretch so much to get it.
I agree with Barbe, that is a beautiful plant!
-
Spring is here with daffodils, crocus, wild geraniums, etc. Beautiful as long as you don't mind standing in the pouring rain to admire it. Forecast: 4 days of pouring rain, flood watches. San Diego, here I come (as soon as I win the lottery).
-
sunny and seventies...so we can say that most days here!
-
Barb, the problem we have are the bugs that love the geraniums in the summer..no spray that I can find works..
-
Lisa - your geraniums are lovely. Here they like full sun all day long. When I lived in Houston, TX my mother had geraniums in concrete planters sitting on a concrete driveway in the hot sun all day and they went wild and got really big and full. Everyone thought she was going to kill them when she planted them there, but boy were they wrong! She did water them every evening just before the sun went down, but that was all the attention she gave them.
Hugs to all. AJ
-
It takes a lot around here to kill or harm a geranium. I love spring and the flowers. I have hyacinth, daffodils, muscari, and poppies decorating my yard. I love the colors!
-
LOVE poppies!!!! Don't care to have to water something every night! That's my biggest problem. No easy access to water except a jug and it's so heavy.
