Oh dear Helen Blanch, there's a lot on your plate isn't there?
So difficult to know what to do when you are far from home and have to uproot children and make a big move.
I wouldn't presume to suggest what you should do, but just wanted to say Hi when I read your post. I know what it's like to be wandering around the house at 4am when everyone else is asleep and your brain won't stop.
One thing I will say is that the move will be stressful no matter when you do it. Would you feel more at ease at home with family and friends nearby, and knowing your daughter has a network to support her?
May will come around pretty fast too, and then you'll have all of that support for the next part of the journey. You really just have to try to decide what is going to be best for you. It may be hard, but you have to put yourself first right now.
I had just made a big move when I was diagnosed, it had been almost a year of selling, buying and renovating. The stress was pretty awful, then just when everything had settled down I got this. Not suggesting it is anything like what you are going through, but I know the feeling of making the big move.
There is every chance that there will be someone along who can offer you advice because they have been in the same situation.
All I can say is take care, and please come here often to touch base, it is a wonderful place for support and advice.
Try to get some rest, and not worry too much. Easier said than done I know.

Hi HelenBlanche. I would like to offer you encouragement from someone who is 16 years past. The tumor that was on me was 5cm. I know that saying don't fear is easier said than done, but fear is not good. I fought fear constantly, but here I am 16 years later. Please read Psalm 118:17.

I know exactly how u feel. I was terrified. Same info for me with the mammo. Been getting them since i was 23, im now 54. mine also said linear calcification. What stage r you? they told me DCIS is the best scenario especially if non invasive. I found all the woman doctors and techs to be so comforting. . I was more terrified than I needed to be about procedures. Stereotactic biopsy after a 1/2 Xanax was a piece of cake as was my lumpectomy. I had DCIS stage 0 grade 2-3. After surgery all Margins clear to 5 mm . Do yourself a favor and do not compare yourself to anyone on this board. I found out if there are 50 cases they are all different. YOurs sounds very close to mine. Wait for your surgeon appt. they will explain everything. NO one is a bigger weeny than me when it comes to drs and hospitals and I was fine...I over worried. I've been blessed with my diagnosis. Never thought I'd say that. Tested negative for the BRCA gene too. I pray yours is good news too.
