    If any of you are still following this, thank you. I have been having abdominal pain, had an ultrasound this am, and was just called about a fatty liver. I was on tamoxifen for two years. It is just the gift that keeps on giving.

    Was diagnosed with bc in 2005, was put on tamoxifen after 10 months taken off my liver counts were way to high, thet told me if they would not take me off the liver would shut my organs down. Liver count high again with last check up and doc ordered ultra sound and suggested maybe to take milk thistle depending on ultra sound results. So still struggling after 8 years.

    Sooooooo, no mention of this in the side effects list.....

    and today after taking it for 3 years, my onco visit revolved around my ridiculously high liver panel.

    wtf.

    tamoxifen has been on the market for 40 years, why is this not in big red letters on your RX bottle?

    This is my 8th year on Tamoxifen and yes I too was told I have a fatty liver. I am afraid to go off it now.

    well, I was taken off of it for 6 weeks and my liver enzymes are down back to normal range. I am not looking at ovarian suppression and an AI. not looking forward to new SEs, but better than a failing liver ?
