Am 2 yrs post diep and noticed a knot near my incision line of my non cancerous reconstructed side this weekend. Going to see the breast surgeon tommorrow.

Now also started with vaginal bleeding first time ever today and am postmenopausal. Also have andominal pain. Will have to call the gyn tomorrow as well. Needless to say I am concerned.

    Was able to see both a nurse practitioner at the breast surgeon and the gyn doctor. The nurse thinks I have an infection but wants to be sure so starting on oral antibiotics and following up in 1 week.

    The gyn doctor did an exam and took some samples and ordered a vaginal sonogram which I was able to get done today. I should have results in a couple of days. I am very crampy and washed out but knowing I will have some answers soon.

    rayofsun, I've had several knots or lumps in the scar areas of my non-Diep, lifted breast, and each time they've turned out to be cysts (which I've learned are very common when you've had breast recon), or scar tissue or something else totally B9.  Hopefully, yours will be too!  And hopefully the bleeding is non-bc related, too!   (((Hugs))), and let us know what you find out.   Deanna
