Mcook {{{HUGS}}}. You are strong, and if people can't see this, that's their problem. Telling anyone how short life is will only fall on deaf ears until they have a brush with mortality, theirs or someone close to them. It is unfortunate but, most of us have bills and the only way to pay them is by working, but please make sure you take time for yourself as often as you can, a soak in the tub with a glass of wine and your favourite music or a comfy blanket and a good book curled up in a quiet room... Or even dancing on the tables with a bunch of crazy friends!!!! But never ever forget that you are strong xo
2FriedEggs lmao, that will be us in that retirement home for sure!!! Did anyone else think of "Golden Girls" and Sophia while reading that?
Thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome!!! You are all very special people, I can tell this is the place to be in our best and worst days!!! -
Shianne.....I'm in TO ......my BF's step-mother has a cottage about a 10min drive from
Casino Rama....there is one lovely lady on the boards here who comes from Orilia...
she spends the winters in Florida and will be back in the spring. Perhaps you two could get together? -
Shianne...I'm from Southern Ontario, Brighton, near Trenton. I've only been to Rama once and that was to a Russel Brand show that was cancelled at the last minute. Nice area.
I just love it when the bus from the retirement home pulls up to the restaurant door and they all pile in! I want to be in the group that has a 'just pass the vermouth cap over the gin' type of martini for lunch and at least they come in a bus!
I could be the bartender!
-
Scottie, that would be nice. When she gets back you will have to introduce us lol I'm sure I will never remember by then, stupid chemo brain!!! When does that go away!?nd if you're ever at BF's cottage you will have to let me know :-)
Outdamedspot, that is too bad it was cancelled lat minute :-( I'm hoping to get tickets for the up coming Alabama concert there. I've been a huge Randy Owen fan for as long as I can remember!!! It's right around my wedding anniversary, I've hinted to DH but not sure I can trust him to get tickets -
Mccook301,
How about "moves like Jagger" dont really know the name but the lyrics. It was the first song of Maroon 5 that I was aware of. Should be a good concert.

shianne: plenty room on the tables... looking forward to having a partner ! and of course Adam Levine - I think he's good therapy for us.
-
Tazzy.....going to fall asleep with my IPad open on this page....lol
-
ha ha... .makes me wanna lick the screen
-
Tazzy...LOL!!! Best laugh I had all day. Though I can see why you would want to lick the screen...He is perfection. I also think Ben Affleck is right up there too.
-
-
ha! Tazzy and every other naughty girl that lust after Adam as much as I do! Guess cuz I was stuck home watching the voice during my treatments:)
I was really naughty this weekend! I bought some Ben and Jerrys for DH for valentines and dam it he was supposed to eat it but oh no, it was Ihad fries today and calorie overloaded B&J. I feel so guilty:) guess I will have to double my workout:)
Anyone else watching Revenge? I am kind of hooked on that show! Until this year I bearly watched Tv and it seems I am doing more and more of that.
When home during the day, I love to watch Ellen because she just makes me laugh!
Well I am getting sleepy... So happy dreams ladies! Maybe I will check in during my 4 am hot flash episodeLOL
-
Excuse me... just off to get some screen wipes
-
mcook: I loved Ellen when I was off. I miss my day time tv... started off with Live with Kelly, then the View, then The Talk, the Chew then Ellen... I had never ever been a daytime tv person until 2012.
Oh! and ice cream... how decadent, how enjoyable... oh! my, enjoy those calories.
-
Tazzy..........you made me chuckle too
-
well at least they are all calorie free too
-
Oh I feel a flash coming on! Tazzy, you devil...forgot about Johnny Depp. Hoohaw!
Thanks for Ben:) -
He is really good looking, I may have to get on the table too if he is up there. Gonna need some big tables LOL

Did anyone see when Adam levine just hosted saturday night live and took his shirt off? YUM!!!
-
So are we allowing men at this retirement home? If that's a yes, I got my list all ready!!!!
-
Scottiee1,
As for the men, only if they allow me to drive and can play cards. If they are going to be allowed then I need to get more ink for my pen my list will be long. Let's see.....intelligent, good looking, kind, good looking, empathetic, good looking, did I mention they need to be good looking LOL. If we have to put up with them at least they need to be pretty and fun to look at.

Well ladies .. The Bon Jovi concert was fabulous .. 2 1/2 hours of him dancing and abound singing and strutting .... Mmmm he does move nice.
-
SherylB.....great minds think alike....lol
-
Joe...great.....glad you had a good time.....did you have good seats????
-
Joanne...oh lucky lucky you....
-
I had great seats ... 23 rows up behind the stage .. He played to all of us but did get to see his butt a lot too .... He really is a good looking guy and lots of energy. Glad I went.
-
Sheryl: get their first album. Every track is awesome! Fell in love with their music long before I knew how hot Adam L was. Seriously. The first album was SO MUCH BETTER then the new stuff. It's gotten more pop sounding.
Tazzy: stop!! I can't manage lusting after hotties right now... I used to be able to pull guys like that. My last BF before my husband was 13 years younger and hot as hell. Aussie footy player/carpenter. *sigh*
So ladies I'm loosing my shit obsessing on my weight and lack of weight loss. Just not getting the scale to budge. It's never been this hard before!!! Anyone else? I'm considering lipi on my belly. Just get rid of it once and for all! I'm going for a consult to get an eyelid lift in two weeks... Thinking I should drop another $5000 and do my belly instead! This belly fat breeds estrogen. -
I agree about the belly fat but MORE surgery? OMG can't imagine it!
-
Before BC I wouldn't have considered plastic surgery. The idea of major surgery... Nope. Now, well it just doesn't seem so MAJOR. It really wasn't THAT BAD compared to what I thought it would be in terms of recovering.
-
Shianne not sure if I welcomed you but welcome to our family!!
Adam Levine is so damn hot he would be on my top 5 list of I would definitely DO them. Blake Shelton is up there at #1. Ha
Table dancing... They would have to make it a damn porch for me, I can shake my money maker!
Juneau- when I went I.to my PS last month he said if I wanted a fuller look we could do fat grafting and insert. Sounds really nice to do Lipo and insert someplace else. My only concern with that is that it could get lumpy too. -
Hi girls, it has been a while since I have been here, I have gone back to work and been busy with next step with consult-planning reconstruction with my love handles, Juneau I see you have tissue expanders but you can have your tummy to rebuild new boobies that are all yours
) and kill 2 birds with one stone. You can only do a tummy tuck one time and you never know if you might need it later.
My brother put things in perspective as far as time/life...he said if you are 50, than you have enjoyed 50 summers/winters etc. I want to experience at least another 30 or 40 summers) we usually look at life in years but when you put it in seasons it shows how much more important it is to enjoy my spring/summer etc !!
Tazzy-Great/hotttttttt pics, just what I needed to kick start my day!!!
Love all you girls, you have no idea how much you have made a difference in my life! Always remember even if you don't see it, you may have touched or made a difference in somebodies life😘
Have a great week💋
