Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
down 2.5 lbs to 157.5 because I was nauseated yesterday and ate very little. Probably some dehydration.
-
up a pound but still under 170 so Happy Happy Joy Joy!
-
drink, drink, drink, Carole!
-
down .08 for a total of 5lb.08oz loss! Still about 20 more to go but I am
on my way.
Feel better Carole. So many people ill this time of year. Stay well everyone!
-
Hi All!
Same, which is a relief considering all the cookies I ate at the Superbowl Party! They were yummy, but now it's back to boring cardio daily, swimming laps 3 times a week and eating like a bird. That should do it! I'm ready to see some progress at the scale so working hard at it.
Charlotte -
Well, glad I missed yesterday's weigh-in. Spent last 10 days in Israel touring but also eating myself silly. Lots of walking but nothing compared to the mounds of great food! Hope to get back on track by next week.
-
Patoo, sounds like a great trip!
-
Up .5 - the blizzard and 3 days of no power did me in. Eating out, and comfort eating at home, plus many many cocktails. The reason I probably didn't gain more is all the shoveling. Hope to show better numbers next week.
-
down 1.2....mostly because we've had parent/teacher conferences the last two nights, and it is not polite eat in front of people and/or to talk with your mouth full.....I was too tired to munch once I got home (which is pretty tired!).
-
Will see doctor on Friday and weigh in there.
Finally had my Root Canal yesterday! Worst part was that it took three hours, and of course, the shots to numb the area. Sore today but SO HAPPY to have this behind me!!! Will go next week to have the final fillings placed. Now to pay for it...that is another matter:(
Still thinking of all you gals that are in need of root canals. Hoping and praying for minimal pain and anxiety, and good outcomes.
Best Regards,
Charlotte -
Nothing happening here. :-(
But I have my exchange surgery tomorrow!!!!!!! :-) -
Down .5 to 133. How I want to see 132.5 again!! I made myself walk over to our town center in the rain yesterday, just to get exercise (and pick up the book I'd ordered).
-
Down 1lb. - very happy about it because I did allot of cheating on my points!
-
maintained from last week which is OK with me.
Dulcigirl, good luck with your exchange tomorrow!
Charlotte, thanks for well wishes. Hope you heal up fast. I saw endodontist last week. He drilled a small hole into the filling and peered inside the tooth with a microscope. Confirmed the fracture runs too deep to save the tooth. Saved some money there but I have an appt next week for an extraction so it'll still cost a pretty penny.
-
Hey, finally made it here on a Wednesday! Holding still from few weeks ago so I'm good with that. The food in Israel was wonderful. It was buffet, breakfast and dinner, and we ate ourselves silly so the only way I didn't gain was because of all the walking and then shovelling this weekend.
Sorry for all who are having dental issues. Not fun, the procedure nor the payments!
-
Well, I probably gained weight today because one of my students 'forced' me to buy two boxes of Girl Scout Cookies (one of which is already gone
).
Glad your dentist appointment went OK, badger!
-
Kept forgetting to weigh in - finally did this morning - down .7.
Girl Scout cookie time - I've finally learned the hard way that when I buy my 2 boxes of Thin Mints, they go right into the freezer. That way if I want a couple, I need to take them out and give them a chance to thaw out. Slows me down - at least for a bit.
-
Down 1 kilo from last week. Helps to have had fever. Hope I don't gain it all back.
Natsfan, great idea with the cookies, but only if you're not tempted by the ice cream.
-
I hate to mention this, but frozen thin mints taste especially delicious (as do frozen York Peppermint Patties).
-
Oh now there you all done gone and made me crave thin mints and p-patties. Frozen would not make me eat less as I would love the crunch. At least there are no girl scouts around, the p-patties are on my desk at work and I've given up sweets for Lent in any case.
-
Up 300 grams. I should give up sweets for Lent, too.
-
Had my exchange surgery last Thursday. Weighed myself before I left for the hospital that morning and then again the next morning. Up 6 pounds!!!!!!???????? So I'm avoiding the scale temporarily as my sister threatened to drive 8 hours to confiscate it.
Thankfully it wasn't all implant weight. Whew! It's already dropped back 4. Haven't weighed myself yet today. Good grief that was frightening!
Have any of you ever tried Callanetics workouts? I just learned of them while trying to find something gentle but toning/strengthening. They are described as no impact, but I'm wondering if they do much pushups/pullups type of moves. -
Up .2. Oh well - just gotta keep plugging away.
-
No change - really need a kick in the but to start exercising more, and watch my food/drink intake on weekends.
Dulcigirl, I had never heard of calanetics, but I just looked them up online. They sound very similar to a program I do on TV called classical stretch. She uses ballet, tai chi, etc moves, all body weight only, with the goal to stretch, elongate and strengthen muscles. Let me tell you, I feel so good when I do this program on a regular basis. It's on a PBS station here, and I DVR it so I can fit it into my schedule.
-
Very, very bad and up two (no decimal point) pounds.
-
Very, very bad, too, and up 2 lbs. The "occasion" meals are killing me. And the lack of exercise.
-
Up 1 lb to 134 (again). I've been feeling generally down and that really saps my motivation.
-
Hi Everyone.
I stayed the same this week. I am grateful for that since Valentines Day really did me in!
Wishing us all a good week.
-
Made it on Wednesday. So glad to come and see that I'm not alone on the lack of exercise and poor eating. So much for giving up the sweets for Lent but will try and do that for the remainder. Anyway, up .2 from last week so not too bad.
-
Not bucking the trend, I'm also up from last week. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the batch of chocolate chip cookies I made (and consumed most of) this past weekend.
