-
Dulci good luck. I had the same exact TEs and same implants. Mine are 700. I'm bigger than you. You are going to be happy.
-
Thinking about DULCIGIRL today... Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
-
Last fill was today! Exchange 3/19. Nervous but so want another chapter of this to be closed! My PS says this surgery is a piece of cake. Hope it's true :-)
-
Prayers for Dulcigirl today! CrystalAnn, so glad your surgery went so well! You sound like you are doing amazingly well.

I come here each day hoping so badly that AnneMarie has posted. Prayers for you, AnneMarie.
I think I need some advice, ladies. I feel as though I am the only one ever who is only filled to 300 cc's, and I am so afraid I will be too small. I am 5'6, 125 lbs, and 30 1/2 around the rib cage. I want to be the size I am in my TE's with just a little more projection. The PS is using ultra high profiles on me and has ordered 7 different sizes, from 350 cc's to 535 cc's.
The nurse who did my fills told me he was going to try to match my TE's but with a little more projection. She always listened to me when I talked to her about what size I wanted to be in the end, and she is the one who asked him to use ultras on me because at first, he said he was going to use high profile. I would say I look like a small to average c right now on my frame. I am going to post pictures on the picture forum this weekend. I soooooo want to get this right before my exchange surgery that is quickly approaching, and I won't see him again until that morning. In fact, now that I think about it, I have only seen him twice since my surgery. I that the norm?
You all are such a blessing. Happy Valentine's Day!
Cheryl

Cheryl - did you post on Whippetmom's thread? She can steer you in the right direction. "Breast Implant Sizing 101" be sure to read the header to give her all the info she needs.
-
dulcit..hope you are doing well today...
) -
JamieB86, thank you. Yes, I did, and she said I would probably be happy with the 500 cc implants. Just worried those will not "fit" after hearing from some of the women on here who were expanded much more than I am and still felt they ended up smaller than they wanted to be. I am probably just getting the pre-surgery jitters.....I hope.

-
Does anyone remember how long it took to drop and fluff?
-
Cindy..... I'm 4 weeks out today and I have started dropping. My PS says 3 months for everything to settle down and settle in. I'm sure everyone's experience is different. Maybe some of the 2012 exchange girls can help us out. I'd like to know their thoughts.
-
I'm ba-a-a-ack!!!!
Arrival time at surgical center--9:30.
Back home in the recliner---3:00.
Having the TE's out??? PRICELESS!!!!!
I will answer any questions I can, so feel free! I'm feeling pretty good, but drifting off to sleep frequently, so please excuse typos and general stupidity and goofiness. :-)
I woke up in recovery VERY sore and shaking. They gave me some good meds and possibly every warm blanket on the 2nd floor and that really helped.
PS told DH that typically there is a decent amount of scarring after a BMX and some cleaning up is needed, but he was amazed that had had virtually none! He moved lefty up and in where she belongs.
So, everything moved so quickly once I started waking up and before I knew it we were in the car heading home. I asked DH if he knew if I got the 650's or 700's. he didn't know, but told me the card was in my wallet.......
Hold onto your hat CindyLoo.....
800's!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be afraid. Be very afraid!!!
Ok. So he told me the cleavage line is swollen right now. (Glad he said that cuz they are a little closer than I want them to end up.) i do think the width toward the sides is PERFECT. No more armpit boobs! AND I think the armpit cave is GONE!!!! I had not expected that bonus!! And I gently poked lefty. Already softer by far than the TE's.
He wants me to stay in the recliner for a couple of nights to help with swelling, so here I am! No strenuous ANYTHING for two weeks...including walking! He wants NOTHING that could elevate the heart rate, etc. so please do not feed me, people! My poor butt....
800's?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I might be in shock over that.
Thanks for all of your kind thoughts. Sherry, I am so excited for you tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! -
Yay Dulcigirl! I'm so glad to hear everything went so well! Rest up, and keep us updated!
-
Holy cow...800s...you are going to be H O T!
I don't think I had any scar tissue either, but I was on the accelerated plan.
Obxflygirl I'm happy to hear that. Today is 3 weeks and I thought I noticed a tiny change...less swelling today. Patience, patience, patience... -
Dulcigirl,
My PS place Allergan high profile 800cc as well. Alas they do not have the projection my 700cc expanders did. Still, I think that when they drop a bit they'll look great!
The Iron bra feeling is gone and replaced by something soft and squishy. They feel so much better!
One of my incisions has bled a bit. I'll need PS to check it out when I see him on Monday. Otherwise, everything has been pretty uneventful and easy. -
I was actually hoping NOT to have the projection of my TE's so I'm not worried about that. Just don't know if I'm ready for "H O T" Cindy!!!!
In high school I wore a lot of navy blue hoping nobody would notice me...I've always been pretty shy.
Guess I got me a set of conversation starters now! Lol. -
Mamatwinz -- I am so sorry I neglected to get back to your question from yesterday. I am still a bit loopy from pain meds. Anyway, my TEs were overfilled to 700cc and I actually liked the way they looked. When PS asked if I wanted to be smaller than the TEs or a bit larger, I said larger. Prior to BMX I was a 36DD. I asked him for a large C or a small D. Now that they're in, time will tell as they drop and soften.
Didn't want to be as large as I was, but I am a bigger girl (5'4", 190 lbs) so I wanted something that looked proportional. It is hard to tell what the finished product will look like, because I am pretty swollen in the upper pole area where PS filled in the divots with Alloderm. I'll keep you posted. They already look significantly different today than they did yesterday. I am going to give them some time. They will never look like the real ones I had, but I am hoping that they will look natural and feel good. -
i am still laughing re armpit cave...omg i thought it was just me!!! it is like a game of quest when i shave!! am so excited for u guys that have had their exchanges..and to hear your progress..its great!! thank u!!
-
thank u crystal

-
Is it bizarre that while I'm reserving judgement of "the girls" til the swelling is gone and the drop/fluff occurs......I am deliriously happy about how my armpits are doing???? They look like normal pits!! I thought there might always be a wacky ledge/cave thing that would make people know!!! Because, ya know, we ALL walk around staring at armpits to guess if they're real or not, right?? ROFL!!
What is wrong with me?! -
great laugh this morning, dulci!!
)) have a good day ladies!! TGIF -
Happy Squishy Day to Sherry!!! So excited for you!
I got mine on Valentine's Day and....lucky you! You get yours on National Cheap Candy Day!!
:-) -
I couldn't even see my armpits before exchange.
Good luck sherry! -
Dulcigirl: I want some of whatever you're on.......you are too freaking hilarious right now
. I sooo hope I have the same giddy elation you seem to be feeling right now when I have my exchange! So you ended up with 800's, huh? I see from a previous post you had 650 and 600cc in your TEs. What capacity were your TE's? Just wondering because I am currently filled to the 600cc capacity of my TEs and am feeling like I need more volume to approximate my former size (36 full C/small D). Online bra size calculators are all putting me at a 38 full B right now which is smaller than I want.
-
My TE's were Allergen 133SX. They are short height expanders which expand the lower pole not the upper. Somehow that allows for a much larger implant to be placed. Whippetmom would be MUCH better at explaining all of that.
But to answer your question, my TE recommended capacity was 400. I was filled to 600 and 650....and ended up in 800's. Good thing I learned in 3rd grade that math was NOT my thing or I'd get a headache trying to figure all of that out.
Motrin, Keflex, Vicodin.....but sadly I'm always like this....lol.
And I only drink water.
:-) -
Congrats to all of you exchange girls, sounds like everyone is moving forward. For those still at the TE stage, you turn is right around the corner! Happy Healing!
-
Thanks Dulcigirl. My PS did say we could overfill 100cc but he also said they would be 'hard as rocks'. You were overfilled by 150 and 200cc......what was your experience in that regard? Thanks!
-
Hard as rocks. "Slept" sitting up in the recliner for the last two months.
But My PS goes by shape not size so he said I could stop when I needed to, but he'd prefer them to be rounded out. That is how he measures "doneness." That's why lefty had to have the extra 50cc's. Lefty was probably angry to be included in this process since SHE did not have cancer. I just keep telling her that she'll be glad when she's equally perky. -
mamatwinz we are about the same size. If you PM me your email I will take a picture of me in my clothes so that you can see what I look like. I don't think the 500's will be too big for you. I am happy with my 400 and 425 but if I had been 500 I would be happy with that as well. Like I said I am wearing a 32D but look more like a full C.
I had my 2 1/2 month follow up with the PS and he was very happy with my last revision. He said everything seems to be healing well. Even though I have dropped he says my pockets are holding up. So I don't have to go back for 9 months which will put me out 1 year and he wants to see how things hold up, unless of course I start to notice more dropping or anything I don't think looks right and I am to call. I am still on restrictions for another month then I can go back to the gym and hit my yoga hard again. He did say since I found a really supportive underwire sports bra I can start running. But told me not too lose any more weight. He said being too thin is hard on the reconstruction. I promised when I hit the gym I would eat more. Also before my BMX I fired my BS so my PS did my BMX and reconstruction both for me. I asked yesterday if I felt any lumps or bumps what was I suppose to do since I fired my BS. He said call and come in and I'll take care of you, I'll be your BS and if we need a general surgeon I'll get you one. I told him I knew if I called my MO he would get me in right away but then would send me to a BS. He said that once you have reconstruction the BS's send you to the PS anyway so he said come strait to me so we can it checked out. I was so relieved I really like my PS and trust him.
Dulcigirl wow 800's!!!
Hope everyone is healing well.
-
600? 800? Yikes!
Just got my TE's on Monday and PS put 75cc in and I feel like I am bigger than I was before all this started. I have an athletic build, 5'6", 121 lbs and was a big A. I don't want to be any bigger than a B when done. I am working with radiated skin on the right side, so will be doing fills very slowly. After 16 months of going flat.....my little insta-boobs feel pretty big!
