March 2012 chemo

Kam - he said there's really nothing that will bring them up except time and my marrow working like it should. He wants me to start a multivitamin but otherwise, didn't say too much else. He said if they're the same next week, we'll start looking at why they're not increasing. He mentioned a bone marrow biopsy...I hope we don't have to go that route - it doesn't sound like much fun. Thanks for the food ideas. I'm willing to try (almost) anything!

Kam - Said level wasn't low enough for either type of transfusion. Update: for 2 weeks, level was low...last Friday, level had doubled! So I had chemo...never thought I'd be saying "Yay" to having chemo but I am! Now I'll be hoping for a good platelet count this Friday.

Hope you are all doing well.

Had a few minor side-effects for years two and three but feeling great in year four. No spread, no lymph invasion.

Can't believe we started chemo in March 2012.
