Check our horsechestnut ...thoroughly and at your own risk.

Good luck and pls let us know if you come up with anything promising.  Be careful of diuretices.

HVV, both the bromelein in fresh pineapple and the selenium in Brazil nuts are said to aid in controlling the swelling of LE. Careful with the selenium, as it's easy to overdose on that. Three (or four if they're small) Brazil nuts a day is it. If you crack them yourself freeze them first and they'll come out whole. Horsechestnut is just plain dangerous and there's research showing it has caused liver damage when used over time (which is the only way it's effective). Nasty trade-off!

Selenium levels can be a problem IF too high.  I don't know about humans but I do in horses and it can be really nasty when too high.

Ive heard that pycnogel, (I may be spelliing it wrong but I know it is from a Maritime pine tree)

I can't recommend it though as I have no research to back it up. Just thought I would mention it if anyone has any hard core evidence on the stuff. I think it has to do with circulation. Let us know if you have any info.
