Dear MDG, I agree, I'd have thought you'd have scans with LVI -  perhaps remind your Oncs you had it.  I sometimes think they see so many patients they dont recall the orginal findings..Good luck to you.

I have been to 4 MO's since my DX. I saw one at and NCI (Unv of Michigan), one at another hospital in MI (not NCI).  Then we moved to Chicago...saw one at Northwestern (also and NCI) and another at a non NCI hospital.  No one is bothered by LVI and no scan.  I wish I felt that way.....   I will talk to my current MO again at my next appointment but I highly doubt anything will happen.  I am thankful I had a bone scan because of pain but I had to push for that....my MO at the time only wanted to do an xray...... Another thing....of the MO's I have seen, the two I disliked the most were at the NCI's. I was not happy with my care there by either MO. The surgeons at both NCI's were amazing though.  Don't think that you always get the best care at an NCI.

Lymphovascular Invasion. "Lymphovascular invasion (LVI) is an important prognostic factor in patients with lymph node-negative patients with invasive breast cancer"
