    I'm going to the hospital for my last Herceptin infusion tomorrow. But I came down with the flu yesterday and have fever. Will I get my last infusion or do I have to wait? I tried to google it but couldn't find any info.



    I would really like to finish to morrow... But understand that I can't go in if I'm too sick.



    Experience anyone?

    No experience with Herceptin, but thought I'd stop & bump your thread for you...

    No experience with flu in conjunction with Herceptin, but I am due to have my last Herceptin next week and just wanted to give you a virtual hug and say "THANK GOODNESS" we made it! :-)



    Since Herceptin doesn't really affect bloods etc I would have thought that getting it while you have flu or bad cold wouldn't be a problem. But, I'm not a doctor so have no idea.



    If your doctor objects you may find they just drop that last one altogether since with a gap more than 3 weeks you would need a loading dose again which would take you up over the total year's dosage?
