Chemo Flashbacks?

Hi all!  I finished my TCH treatments last December.  Finished radiation in late January, and finished Herceptin in July.  But last night, I had the oddest thing happen.  I was in rehearsal, and my back and hips started to ache a lot (like they always did after Neulasta), then I started feeling really nauseous.  I went home and got chills - literally shivering, all of which were REALLY typical when I was having chemo, and I couldn't sleep.  I had a couple of Ativan left over, so I took one which helped me to sleep.  This morning I feel somewhat better, but not 100%.  Do chemo flashbacks really happen?

I know this is an older post, but I am going through my one year cancerversary from starting chemo.  I am having chemo flashbacks big time!  A smell, a song, a food, you name it, I'm right back there.

Yes, I've had them.  I've had them triggered by stuff like my mammogram (which brings everything back) but also by certain smells and colors.  I was at a Halloween party after my treatment and a couple dressed as a doctor and nurse were going around with large plastic syringes filled with a bright red liquid (some kind of shooter).  Looked JUST like the red crap they injected me with as part of my FEC.  I panicked and felt like I was going to hurl.

And this is going to make it sound like I'm making someone else's experience all about me, but my father also recently went through chemo and so it was talked about a lot.  This was very triggering for me, and especially so when I accompanied him to an appointment.
