What are the alternative medicine resources in UK?

Dear Ladies,

My best wishes to all of you and hope for your recovery and healing.

I am a concerned brother-in-law. My sister in law lives in UK, she has stage 4 breast cancer, cancer was detected in her bones and small one in her liver.

She has chosen to go the alternative route and stop seeing her oncologist.

I just visited her and she is trying different diet and a tea.

I encouraged her to join this community so she can benefit from the group knowledge, support but she can not do it yet.

I see that she needs a coach or someone who was successful dealing with cancer and see a human being rather than reading about the success stories. She also needs to see a doctor who believes in the treatment for her peace of mind.

If anyone in UK knows resources around Birmingham, please let me know.

Thank you and wish you all peace of mind and the healing that you desire.

B

http://www.renaissancetherapy.co.uk/therapies.html  here is a site that you may find of interest. I think you could also show your sister in law this site, its a UK health shop, i am in no way a Dr or advising what your sister in law should use, but i currently take these supplements and i have discussed them with my breast cancer nurse and she was fine with me taking them as they are completely organic. http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=2133&cpid=2355#review

May i also suggest your sister in law seeks counselling, although she may feel completely sure she wants a natural alternative, it's important to talk to professionals that can provide emotional support. Cranberry juice, kiwi fruit, lots of broccoli, cabbage, lentils, tomatoes and water ( at least 8 glasses a day ) can all be added to a balanced healthy diet. I personally avoid caffeine and eat fish and chicken. There is also a treatment available in the US known as Ablation. I was told it's at the early stages for clinical trials in my area ( I'm in Northern Ireland ) but after some research of my own i discovered it's already used in America and some areas of England and Wales, privately. Here is a link you could show your sister in law. http://www.cancerablation.com/?gclid=COGW08DD6bQCFe7MtAodeHcAPw

I hope the links may be of use to you and you can discuss them with your sister in law, all the best to you and your family and i hope she finds information of use to her.
