Seven......count 7 years!!!!!!

Seven years ago, on 02/03/2006 I first heard those dreaded words!!!!

In that time, my oldest DD has graduated college and gotten married; my DS finished high school, has attended college and travelled and enjoyed life...he just left for Israel for 5 months!!; and I got to see my youngest DD become a Bat Mitzvah and is now a freshman in high school, soon to get a learners permit.

I've been to Israel 4 times....one time with my DD#1 to do the first Israel RFTC; I crewed two times for the Komen 3 day walk and I"ve had the priviledge of meeting in person several amazing sistahs that I met here on BCO.....gals who live in all over the world and across the US.....

I'm no one's hero and I'm not glad to have had BC (no its not a gift).....I just did what we all had to do....put one foot in front of the other and do what we have to do to keep living...and to keep living life to the fullest!!!!

Looking forward to growing old with my sistas and celebrating many more years together!!!!

Karen - here I am, a couple of months behind you....and just look at our stats! AND...it's my guess you were born the same year I was....right? Which would mean we were both graced with a cancer diagnosis around the big five-oh.

Here's hoping we continue to mirror each other with NED (and I will try to take a page from your book about living large!)
