They are beautiful!!! By the way, if someone wants to make them for me... I'll pay you. Could be a big moneymaker...

@curlylocks, you could knit them out of another yarn the same gauge but different fiber content, like maybe cotton.

I went ahead and bought the pattern, but then realized that I would need a small size at the wrist, but larger than the XL for the forearm. As it is a lace pattern, it would be a bit complex to alter. Maybe someday when I want a challenge. I have some baby alpaca yarn that would be perfect.

@Laural, can you fake it by using a smaller needle at the wrist and gradually changing to larger ones as you go up the arm? If you would only find it "a bit" complex to alter your skills far exceed mine. How would you go about it with such an intricate pattern?
