Hello All,

Just finished up my radiation one week ago. I am hoping to meet others who would like to discuss life after treatment.

Would like to start a small support group if anyone is interested. Sometimes its difficult to convey these feelings to friends who haven't experienced the journey.

    I'm here in Hamilton. Finished hard chemo on November 30, 2011 and still on herceptin. I'm lurking through this site almost every day but just saw your thread. Feel free to PM me if you wish.

    I am from Hamilton  and  fairlely new to the sight and have just been diagnosed with DCIS, didn't like the dr i seen and I am looking for another surgeon for a second opinion and to see if he/she would have a better "bedside" manner so to speak. Please let me know if you have a good one.

    I am glad you did this post so I will have other Hamiltonians to talk with. and Feel free to PM any time.

    Hi - i am not from Hamilton but close i am in Woodstock. I go to a support group here with a group of wonderful ladies that have gone through and going through breast cancer. It makes a huge difference to have them in my life and talk about things. Good luck for starting your support group i am sure it will help all of you

    I would be interested in a get together.  I'm not from this area so no family close by and just one friend whom I fear I'm over burdening with my fears.  Just got my dreadful diagnosis and have been given tamoxifen to see if it will help any.  But for now I can still work like normal. I hope everyone enjoyed the snowfall and went out to have a good time in it.  Hope it is the last snow of the season.
