Swollen neck glands...

Hi I was newly dxd w ILC stage 2. No swelling of armpit swelling on MRI but I have noticed the swelling in my neck glands for months...and I am tired. lumpectomy soon with at least radiation and hormone therapy. any one have swollen neck glands?

    Newbee, I'm sorry for your diagnosis. I haven't had swollen neck glands but I think you should discuss it with your doctor asap.



    My oncologist carefully checks all my glands whenever I see him so it seems to me it's important.



    Having said that, there can be other causes of swollen glands apart from cancer, such as infection.



    Please call your doctor as it would be better to know about this before surgery.

    I know my doctor checks the neck glands every time I go in, yet I've never read of anyone here having cancer in the neck glands. Perhaps it's to see the general state of the glands, which if enlarged, could be due to a current or lingering illness. Just a guess, but hope it makes you feel better.
