Tossing in lousy veins in the non-ALND arm. I have a great vein in the ALND arm that we can't use for things like lab draws, PET scans, MRIs, etc. Had to be stuck 3 times today for PET scan. Tossing in the anxiety that comes with waiting for results. Am going to sit with some hot cocoa by the warming fire now....
-
hey Linda, the warm fire is going nicely tonight. We're having a windy night as a cold front moves in, and it's taken down several big branches from the old silver maple out front. It's good fuel and burns well. I'll keep you company with a cup of hot spiced cider. Cheers!
-
Linda, cocoa solves a lot of things
Wishing you the best possible results...will be waiting with you.
Aoa, badger, that cider sounds awesome.
We're in a warm-up for a few hours then we get the frigid air that is coming from the west.
Nite,Joan
-
I'll join you ladies by the fire. Its very windy here and temp is supposed to start dropping. Warm fire and good friends will be wonderful
-
Just throwing a log on the fire....to keep it going just in case...I know y'all are around and about on the threads...
Granny, still waiting and praying for you and your son.
-
Thanks, Joan, for stoking the bonfire. The coals are nice & hot! L&H&P's to all

It was minus 6 degrees in my town this morning....coldest on Long Island.
Probably colder in Rider and badger towns
Love the photo...peaceful... -

I type on an antique thrashingta ble with one leaf in, so I tried pushing it together as tight asic ould. butn o, was not the uneven surface.
But you cansee it is 'better' because I pulled the keys out and space bar and yes i t was a mess and I thought sometimes you just gotta clean your keyboard, surely thism ess is all it is. But though it seems better, and I type diligently to be perfect it is not altogether fixed. not atall . ia m fairly certaint he bashing did not help. But it was doingth us beforethe firstba shing. Perhaps I type too quickly? Slowing down did help. Still we have spared the keyboard from being melted down for another day whilei ponder. eh.
Yes, sometimes I just have to clean my keyboard anyway.
Did you know that if youd rop a piece of chip into keyboard, it does not remian a piece but is basically pulverized? My old keyboard, it fell through, that is why I asm poiled. How does thist hing get I asm poiled out of I am spoiled? Bcz I thypeth too quicklyf or its little keyboardbra in. Perhaps I willm elt it after all.c rap.

I asked Hubbyd, id I bash the keyboard, he said not in front of me and I said well I never bash itar oundwhen you are not home bcz you are the ONLY source of my anger, so it was onlyba shed after it broke to tryto fixi t. Sounds like Granny's son's surgery did not go as planned. Let's all send our hugs to her today!
-
Granny....I am thinking of you and especially your son and keep both of you close to my heart and in my prayers.....
-
Granny, my prayers are with you. My virtual arms are reaching out to hug you, my virtual shoulder is there for your head to rest on.
-
(((Granny K))) I know your big beautiful heart is breaking...you are in my prayers always.
-
Granny, hugs and prayers are headed your way.
-
Granny I just realized I came on to toss the keyboard and did not note your distress here. I am so sorry ((((Granny))) going to check on you on the other thread too see how your son is doing now. The keyboard lives on with brand new batteries, I must have used old old batteries yesterday that used to be in keyboard and I traded off into flashlight then back to keyboard and they were even older, brain is in shreds sometimes. Hubby says to remember if it starts f'ng up again don't beat it, just get in new batteries. Like I will remember that.... +_____+

FYI, Granny's son had brain surgery which did not go well. He is in ICU and now breathing on his own.
-
Hi all, snowing here again...but it's the week end so I don't care. It's warm in the house.
Granny says her son is out of ICU and even doc is speechless. She sends her love and thanks for the support.

Don't quite know what it is I need to throw in...but man I gotta get rid of something....mind is just going overtime and of course the 20mg of dex i got yesterday with my chemo sure doesn't help to slow it down! Does really make me feel better tho so I guess it's a good trade-off - boy deo I get a lot done for these couple days lol
-
I came to throw two things in........now have too think.....oh yeah found one .. The phone call an hour ago asking for DH (he passed in aug 2010), I asked why---some cancer outfit wanting him to send request donation cards to neighbors "May we speak to him". My response 'Well he's in a box in the bedroom". She couldn't get off the phone fast enough. Second.....still thinking HMMMMM let's just throw in memory foul ups. Burn bright and hot for both
