    Hi Everyone,

    I was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma October of 2012. Must do four chemo treatments then radiation. Had my first chemo treatment Jan 8, 2013. I did feel aches and pain, constipation and now tender scalp. I am dreading loosing my hair but its coming gradually. My next treatment is Jan 29, 2013 still scared of the next one because they say its diffrent all the time. I will be getting a Lunaysta shot to lower risk of infection. Any suggestions.

    Hi, Gisela -- so sorry to hear about your diagnosis.  This forum is for DCIS, which is stage 0 ductal carcinoma which has not left the ducts yet (in situ).  Is your cancer invasive ductal carcinoma?  Usually DCIS doesn't require chemo, so I'm thinking that your cancer is at a later stage than Stage 0.  You will probably find more chemo-savvy folks in the invasive ductal carcinoma forum: http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/96
