Hmm, seems like if this were true it would be announced in a bigger forum than the newsite, and it seems almost to have been translated from another language into English, which doesn't make much sense to me. Then there's an add at the bottom of it. Sure it's legit?

It's legit. I saw something about this on the news a few months ago - it was an earlier release of the information. More info came out about it 4 days ago so it's in the news again.

This is a promising but very preliminary finding; these sorts of developments unfortunately take years to get into mass use. The article in the Global News link above says:
"His next steps include studying a larger cohort, about 2,000 women fighting breast cancer, to confirm his findings.
The results of that study could be published in about three years, pending funding. Damaraju says he suspects that just a few years after that, the DNA predictor test could be tested in clinical studies before they’re made available for women." -
