Bra Question

Hello all,

Any advice on underwire bras? I have residual swelling of my arm and breast and am told that the arm is not likely to be lymphedema but that the breast is. I am plus size and large breasted and feel the need for the underwire to maintain a professional appearance. Anyone else?

HVV, I wish I had a solid answer to your question, but I do know that underwires are not recommended for those of us with or at risk of LE. Have you had an evaluation by a qualified lymphedema therapist? That's the best person to help you understand any risks related to wearing an underwire bra.
