Granny....you OK???

Granny,
Agree about the hospital germ factor but will say an extra prayer for you and your son. ((""hugs..)))) -
Granny, You and your family are in my prayers.
-
Thank you everyone for your prayers.....all the tests are done..surgery. Is for jan23..
I did wear a mask and gloves all day.
I laughed at myself....everyone thought I was sick. -
What's the saying?
He who laughs last has not yet heard the bad news? (Or heard they have the flu or some worse bug)
-
granny.......I'm so proud of you for not getting any trouble
Candle is lighted in the header for your son
Big hugs from NY....♥♥♥♥

Hi all,
I am trying to remember the stats concerning the AI drug. Drawing blank....book of papers 6" so not going there right now. What I do remember is for that same diagnosis and Onco score of 13, my chances of recurrence were 7% without chemo and 5% with chemo. That's a different stat though, based on onco.(((((Granny))))) you know we are here.

Prayers for you and your son, Granny
-
You have been on my mind so much, (( K )).....
I will be with you..... While you are waiting through your son's surgery, just take a moment to lean back in your chair in the waiting room, take a slow, deep breath and remember all of us are right there with you, okay? Draw your strength from that, from us, all right?
Huggggs ♥
-
That's right, we're are here for you!
-
Better take a big bag. I don't think there's room for all of us in your pockets. ((((HUGS))))
-
Granny, I think a suitcase is needed here, you know the ones with wheels...Checyboy
says you're only 4 FT nothing ....lol.... trust me,make the suitcase!!!! -
Joan811 - I just know that my MO told me my chance of recurrance with them is 6%, 11% w/o them. The cancer math site gives me an extra 7 months with the drugs. Not much of a edge considering all the risks associated with them, IMHO. I"m going with natural supplements and diet at this point.
Whoa winter has finally arrived. 14* with -11* chill index, horizontal snow, black ice, and snow funnels. Looks like it's going to be a good day to stay indoors.
-
1 below here right now. Brrrrtrr
-
OMG...That's terribly cold Moonflwr
-
Sheila, guess we can't complain about the cold today; but wait - their weather always comes our way...
Mini, Moonflwr, brrrrrrr - be safeThe snow looks beautiful today.
Mini, I know those stats are not easy to convert to an absolute decision. I wish you the best with the natural path.
All I know is my body makes cancer; I kept my breast; I'm taking the drug. And I know it may not make any difference but I decided to take it. I will see how I feel in another year if I have hair/bone loss etc.
Stay warm, northeners!
Joan -
-10* this morning when we woke up. Brrr.
I go back and forth with the meds. I tried at first but had SE's bad enough that they have them listed as allergies for me. I keep saying I'm going to try the Tamox, but I'm scared of the SE's. I am not being a wuss here. I could deal with some discomfort and minor SE's but I had lots of bad ones. I know mine is not the coventional path, but accrding to my stats, 89% of the people survive w/o the drugs. It has to be someone, so why not me? I know it's not the conventional path, but it is my choice. For now anyway. -
I have a big suitcase..just took everything out sooo there is plenty of room for everyone...I'm at the guest house now....very impressed after a day from hell yesterday.
The surgery starts at 6am and it goes all day...I'll try to keep you posted...hook in up th their system took about an hr....but I'm on..
Thanks you for all the support..hugs everyone K -
It has to be someone, so why not me?
Ironic ...thats pretty much how I think about the cancer at this point!
-
Granny...the candle will be burning on the header until your son gets home
Make sure you eat OK....Hugs.....♥
-
I'm first in the suitcase Granny since it was my idea...lol
-
I did bring not only a suitcase that's on wheels but I also brought masks and rubber gloves...don't want anyone around the germs...
Just for the record(Chevy)I'm 5ft.tall..weigh 123lbs.and my shoe size is 51/2...ha.
I'll be back if I can get on this thing once again...put it down for dinner and I lost the connection.maybe I'll stay up all nite and chat with whoever cannot sleep.huiggs grannydukes
