Is cannabis oil legal in Canada?
Comments
-
Hello ladies, I was wondering if Canada is a medical marijuana/cannabis country? I am trying to find cannabis oil.
Thanks
-
Im not sure about federally but I think so. The province of Ontario is for sure. Im not sure if you are aware but there is a tablet form that gives you the benefits without the psychogenic aspects, I forget what it is called though.
-
if you remember what it is called please let me know. I am in Ohio where barely anything is legal here. I will be in Buffalo in a couple weeks and wondered about going into Canada to see about some oil. I will be near Niagara Falls and when I was there last time I went into a couple of "head" shops, I wonder if they sell cannabis oil? Or does it have to come from a dispensary?
-
i honestly dont know about the head shops, I didnt even know we had those lol, I thought they were a Euro thing. Re tablet I will find out but I do know its by perscription from doc,
-
Thanks!! The shops I saw were near Cifton Hill, touristy area.
-
Not sure id trust a head shop selling oil..
most cannabis products if not all require perscrip to be legal..
i suggest asking a "friend' instead
-
yes I agree, I am going to ask my onc about prescribing or if he knows any docs in legal states that he can refer me to. I just thought since there are head shops in Canada that there might be legal dispenseries and since I would be in Buffalo in a couple weeks thought I might be able to go into Canada to get some oil. But crossing border.....not sure, I would probably be ok but still. I think I will check with my onc and see about going to Michigan instead. I may still go to Canada to see the falls though!!
-
Cannabis in all of its forms is illegal in Canada. Only exception is for those who have a prescription from their physician. This is not easy to get. Best to ask "friends". Discrete friends.
-
Thanks Kay!! Will do.
-
@rdrunner, my onc says he can prescribe hemp pills but its my understanding that hemp and cannabis are different. Why dont they just legalize it for petes sake!!!
-
Hemp oil is different. And to get the benefits from it you have to use a high grade of pot, it has to be over 20% to be effective. Stores here in B.C. don't sell it (dispenseries) it would be something you need to make yourself to be potent enough to do any good.Check out Phoenixtears.ca and any info you can get on Rick Simpson. It is much better to make yourself cuz you don't know if its really strong enough if places sell it......
