    Some good info in here. Corresponds with the advice I was given. I had a breast MRI in April 12 between chemo and rads and a pelvic u.s. in June (clear). The radiologist came in while I was still lying on the u.s. table and told me that because of my type of BC (ILC) I should always get an MRI, not a mammogram or even an ultrasound. He said MRIs are the gold standard for follow-up care.
