NEW TO THIS BLOG FORUM:TRIPLE POSTIVE CANCER PATIENT
Hi to all of you. Was dx in May 2012 with invasive ductal carcinoma, no lymph node involvement, but Grade 3 (100% receptivity for both estrogen and progesterone, Herceptin-postive (100% as well). Lumpectomy on May 28 to left breast; began chemo FEC (three treatments) at end of July; last three rounds were Taxotere (hated it!!!!!!!!) with Herceptin. Now receiving radiation and will finish by January 24, 2013. Tamoxifen is then in my future, which really makes me sad. . . and scared. So glad I found this forum!!

Would love to hear from Tamoxifen users, 50ish age-range, who are triple postive. Thanks!!

Hi gratitudeforlife like suzie says we have a great triple positive thread. I think all of us there took the name of the thread to be not only about our disease but about are attitude too. Great bunch over there.
Here's the link: linky
Some of us over there are on Tamoxifen, others like myself on some kind of what I call ESD (estrogen sucking drug) or what's know as an aromatase inhibitor. Most ladies do fine on either one. Remember when you read all these horrible SE that most people come here to get help from the SE. Those who don't get SE don't post "Hey I'm on an ESD and I feel great." if you know what I mean.
Taxotere sucks. so glad you're done with it.
