First chemo very pain in my back and legs

Hello ,

I had my first chemo (TAC)only 3 days ago. I had  shot (Nupogen) for three days. Still I have to do two more days.I have lot of pain in back and in my legs. I dont have neusea  and I dont feel tired but very pain in my all body specially my back and legs.

Is that normal?

    Hi Zohra...i think your pain is from Nupogen....

    Ask your DR what you can take to get comfortable

    I think Sheila is right that the pain is from the Nupogen - it stimulates the bone marrow to make more white blood cells and this causes bone pain. I took one 24-hour Claritin every day for the first week after I had my chemo - ask your nurse or doctor about it - it helped me a lot.

    Chemo drug texotere causes pain for me it started 3 rd day of chemo i tried pain killers heating pad it will go away in 3 to 4 days i m from canada

    The Claritin was amazing. I had neupogen every two weeks for my AC txs and never had any residual pain because I took one 24 hour claritin beginning the day of the shot and then for about three days afterward.
