Minutes or METS

Any thoughts on whether it's important to exercise for 150-300 minutes per week or if there's the same benefit in cancer prevention for exercising at a higher intensity for the equivalent amount of METS?

In Anticancer, A New Way of Life, David Servan-Schreiber discusses exercise in terms of METs. I don't know of any studies that compare minutes to METS but since reading his book, I've used METS to track my own exercise/week. I surely don't get in 300 minutes of exercise/week. I'm impressed that you do!

I get more like the 150 minutes, not the 300, so no need to be impressed!

I'm wondering if the study that confirmed the value of exercise used METS as well as minutes. It's good to know that the book you referred to uses METS.
