Sherri G.
I just want to thank you for being a positive force in my life since my dx in 2010. I don't know why you left or if you'll be back (I really, really hope so). But just want to say thank you and God bless for giving so many of us that one thing we need most when we come to these boards -- hope.
With love,
Rachel

I suppose if I saw the avatar, I might know who this is, but it is REALLY bothering me that I can't place this person.....must be the chemo brain!!! I still have it!!! I wish this person the best!

Thank you for starting this thread, Rachel.
I also want to thank Sherri G. for starting the 5+ year out thread. I don't post a lot, but after I was diagnosed I was devastated, especially since I work in the field. I distinctly remembered the evening I found this discussion board, and this thread, and it gave me so much hope. Hope to see my kids finish growing up, which is all I really want. I am now almost 3 years out, and didn't really think I could feel this good, or normal, again. Thanks to all who have shared their stories, and their support, these last few years. It means more than you could ever know. I hope to do the same for others in that first year of treatment.
Sherri, hope all is going well for you. You are missed. Thanks again to all the "Cyber Angels."

SherriG I also want to thank you and wish you the very best in your life! You were one of the first voices I heard when I arrived here in early 2006 with a new primary BC dx that had me really scared! Over the years, Sherri you proved you were a tireless advocate for the newly diagnosed, a constant support and encouraging voice for all of us Stage 3 sisters and someone who I felt was truely a voice of reason and compassion.
I hope whatever the circumstances that have pulled you from our group here, that you are healthy, happy and loved!
Your presence here is greatly missed!
Linda

You've been such a blessing to us all, Sherry! I'll miss seeing your smiling face here:(

Miss you our fearless leader!!!! Praying for you.....

Sherri G. I don't post as often anymore, but I check in always. I'm not sure the circumstances of your departure, but I want you to know that I'll miss seeing your posts. You are such a kind and inspiration to us. Saying a prayer now for comfort and peace in your life.
Hugs and Prayers,
Lexi

I'm in shock. I don't cry easily but knowing that SherriG has left the stage III forum makes me cry. If anyone can enlighten me, please send me a PM.
SherriG -
I can't begin to express how much it meant to me that we had you as our rock on the stage III forum. Your calm and positive attitude was what most of us needed as we went on our journey. If I posted a problem, the one poster I always wanted to hear from was you. And I looked forward to the day when I could add my own entry to the 5 Years Out thread. Unfortunately I didn't make it as a stage III'er.
Please come back. I've move on to stage IV but I will never forget the scared and lonely feeling of my original stage III dx. And how you calmly let me know that there were many ladies out there, such as yourself, who could help me through the tough times.
Please come back. -
Thank you for the PMs letting me know that Sherri is OK. First and foremost, I was concerned that something may have happened on the health front. I wish she would come back but I respect her decision.

Huh?!! Sherri?
What did I miss?
Dearest Girl. You are and will be forever my sister.

Linda hon, check your facebook messages

I too was shocked to find one of my old cohorts has left.
Very surprising and sad, as most if you mentioned SherryG was a constant here on this board....and consistently positive and even.
If you read this SherryG...Fists up!

Sherri,
Where ever you are, one thing you need to know,
4 years ago, it was YOU, who said, Carol change hospitals, go for a second opinion. I dit not even know what a second opinion was at that time.
Because of you, I fould a carring, loving breast surgeon who always said.
" I love spending money on you." by scanning me yearly. Who told me every year, bullshit with scanning only til you have symtoms.
He called himself more a " body-detective" , with the hope ALWAYS to be wrong.
Thanks to you, otherwise I would be dead........
Thanks
Carol
