It's been 7 Years!!
Hello dear ILC sisters. I haven't been on here for awhile but wanted to come celebrate my 7th Anniversary since diagnosis Stage 3 ILC ..... had a double mastectomy, chemo, radiation, tamoxifen and still on aromasin and still here and kicking!! Let's see, what have I done new this year? Oh yes, I went ziplining and white water rafting and had a blast despite being afraid of heights! I've been making some little fan films (check out TrekTrax.org - yep, that is me on the second line as a Vulcan!! lol)....having lots of fun. My kids are growing up - 6 years ago I was afraid I wouldn't live to see that. I know I will never be 100% out of the woods but I don't live my life thinking about it. I remember what it was like when I was first diagnosed and going through treatment, so I wanted to check in and give you all a big hug and some hope. I hope I will see you next year again. Take care.

Wow Peggy! What a great post. I remember your 5 year check in and the bright fuchia streak in your hair. I'm so glad to read that you continue to be so active, healthy, and happy. Congratulations and thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you for your hope inspiring post. I see you had TAC, which I also had. It gives me hope that several long term survivors of ILC had that chemo. It appears to work well for ILC.
