DCIS and diabetes, hypo thyroid, and starting tamoxifen

Has anyone had a similar journey as I have. I have had a lumpectomy three wks out, I'm diabetic diet controlled and I take meds for hypo thyroidism and high cholesterol. No Rads for me because stage 0, grade 1, clear marg. and sentenal node biopsy. Oncologist has me starting tamoxifen Jan. 1, Happy New Year 2013.

    My situation was different so I can't offer any advice.  But I did want to pop in to say "Welcome!".  I'm glad you found us but sorry that you had to.

    There's a new forum on this discussion board called "Forum: Breast Cancer with Another Diagnosis or Comorbidity"  You might try posting your question there.  I'm sure that there are other women on the board who are diabetics and who are taking Tamoxifen, but they may not have DCIS so they might not be reading the DCIS forum.
