Diana, that is awesome about the tm! Jan will be even lower!. I go jan 9 and if you are going to see if its remission, then maybe that's what my onc is expecting too! My first tm went from 116 to 61 after about the same amt of time on the same treatment so we are kind of on the same schedule. So good to here things are going in the right direction!

Oh, Diana, wonderful! Thank you for reporting in.
Are you inclined to look into any of the vaccine trials going on? I think there are some for stage IV patients. I'm in one for stage III and my doctor who's overseeing it was a researcher at NIH for a long time. She told me she is "very optimistic" about vaccines for breast cancer and she said she personally has witnessed stage IV patients go into remission from vaccine treatment and stay there -- so far anyway. I think most of the vaccine trials for stage IV require measurable disease, so it sounds like it may be too late for you anyway.

Great news Diana andHLB! Keep kicking a$$!

I am good with what I am doing. So far so good I really believe I will be in remission soon with the markers going down. The rads took out the tumor in my spine. The rest is clean up. Femara and zometa are doing it's job very optimistic. Always believe in hope and recovery
Keep on gals -
And exercise!!! You are going to be just fine, Diana. I really think that the magic bullet with you is hormonal therapy, and you are back on it.
So glad all is headed in the right direction. - Claire

That vaccine sounds interesting! Also the T-cell therapy sounds great and there's a trial for bc in washington right now. I was thinking about it yesterday and how you have be really bad off to get it (so far). Too bad. We need to be cured BEFORE we are almost dead! Lol. I started in july with mets and was so devastated. Its amazing how much better I feel now thanks to these boards and people like Diana :-)

If your ttalking about AE37 trial at Sibley in DC, I just went this week for third injection and she had 17 slots still open. I am in same one as tectonic shift

Fred, I was talking about one in washing state (I think) with the tcells. They take them out and teach them to go after cancer then inject them back in. I am going to look up the one you are talking about!
