After reviewing the rules defined on breastcancer.org, I noted the following, "You agree not to post messages (public or private) that contain material that is inappropriate, unlawful, hateful, profane, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hostile or indecent."

Under a Nipple Reconstruction forum I posted a link to a photo of my CV flap nipples - 4 days post op and was warned that this was not permitted. I am trying to determine if this information is correct.

Is it true that breast cancer survivors in a breast cancer discussion board related to breast reconstruction can not post a link to photo's of they're surgery?

it really does... (strange being a good word to use).

I have posted all of my photo's on my blog - pictures from day one post BMX, through failed surgeries, to what I hope is now a successful surgery. i see my mounds/foobs as badges of honor. I am proud of them. My blog is not pornographic in anyway, rather, it is informative.

I was recently in New Orleans and stopped in the police station to see what the rules were regarding public nudity - specifically, being topless with no areole or nipples. I was told that if I was a trans gender man, with protruding breasts but still had a penis I could go topless. And if I was a women with no areole or nipples I could go topless. But once I had both, I could be arrested.

For the record, currently, I have noobs and nips. both are an illusion.

It all seems a bit odd. Pornography, as far as I am aware, is something designed specifically to generate sexual arousal. Don't see how nipple recon ticks that box! Have you asked why the link is not permitted?

Who told you that this was not permitted? If it is related to breast cancer, we don't typically have an issue with this.

Updated to clarify: the member who said she had been warned was describing her experience in a different forum, on a different site, with different moderators. And the warning was about posting private information, not about obscenity, pornography or indecency.

Wasn't this topic originally posted in another forum (or am I dreaming)? If so, why was it moved?
