Father of Love and Mercy,
Thank you so much for our dear friend Lu. Thank you for her strength and courage and for the inspiration she is to all of us. Be with her today, as you are each day with all of us, but allow her especially today to be aware of your presence. To know that You, O Holy One, have your loving arms around her. Sing to her a lullaby of peace, and keep us ever mindful of your love. Amen
Thinking of you Lu -
Lord,
Please take care of our friend, LuAnn and let her know how much she is loved. -

Lord, we need You as Great Physician and Healer. We are asking that You visit our Lu's hospital bed and bring with You divine power that will make her well again.
It is a frightening and uncomfortable thing to be placed in the hospital because of her illness . Her body has been assaulted . We ask You to get Lu through this crisis and bring her to the place where she is whole again.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask that through this turmoil You might grant her peace of mind.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask that through the battery of tests, answers might be found.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask for divine guidance upon the attending physicians.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask she is treated with dignity by aides and nurses.
Lord, in Your mercy we ask for comfort for her loved ones who are concerned for Lu.
We pray for a time of healing from You and a time of gathering strength from You.
We pray for renewed health and wellness, through Christ Jesus. Amen

please pray with me
O Mother of mercy, comforter of the afflicted,
you know my suffering and my needs. Look upon
me with loving kindness.
By appearing at the Grotto of Lourdes, you made
it a sacred place, a sanctuary of healing.
Many have been cured there, both physically and
spiritually. I come, therefore, with faith in the
Lord's healing power.
O Mary, please grant my requests for healing.
Most of all, help me to know and embrace God's
will for me.
Amen
xoxo
Patti -
Thanks Patti. This is the news we never want to hear. I'll pray with you today. For Lu, and for those in similar situations, and for those who are having a hard time dealing with and coping with this disease.

A PRAYER TO OUR LADY FOR HEALING
Mary Immaculate, you have given
yourself to us as our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. You have asked us to pray
with confidence,and we will receive
great graces. We know your compassion,
because you saw your Son suffer and die
for us. In your union with His suffering you
became the mother of us all.
Mary, my mother, teach me to understand
my suffering as you do and to endure
it in union with the suffering of Jesus. In
your motherly love, calm my fears and
increase my trust in God's loving care.
According to God's plan, obtain for me
the healing I need. Intercede with your Son
that I may have the strenght I need to work
for God's glory and the salvation of the
world.
Amen
Mary, health of the sick, pray for us.
May God grant us healing and all the graces
we need through the intercession of our Lady
of the Miraculous Medal.
Father
Please be with Lu ,her family and her dear friends
here.
Lord hear our prayers
I ask in the name of Jesus, That you send your angels
to protect Lu surround her with your light, love and Healing.
Amen

Thanks Patti,
I was away all weekend and just read your post on Fighter LU. Needless to say I am heartbroken. I pray she will be at peace.
Geech -
Patti,
Thanks for the update..I so wish it had been better news though...I will keep Lu and her family in my prayers..
I said a prayer for you my friend,
That your struggles would soon end.
That you would feel God's peace with you,
As you trust Him each day through.
I prayed that you would feel His love,
Rain down on you from up above.
I asked Him to take care of you,
Fill you with joy and laughter too.
I prayed that He would let you know,
That He will never let you go.
That He'd pour blessings down on you,
And make your grey skies turn to blue.
I prayed that God would give you rest,
And that He'd answer your request.
I asked the Lord to touch your soul,
Fill you with hope and make you whole.
My friend I prayed that you would feel,
His gentle touch reach down and heal.
I said a prayer for you my friend,
My best wishes to you I send.

Hugs and God Bless,
Cherie -

My Dear Sisters
I received
a note
from Lu's
sister Debbie
informing me
that Lu passed away
at 1.32 am
surrounded by family
and friends
She wanted me to
thank all of you
for being so
caring and supportive
I had the privilege
of sharing many
emails and pms
with Lu over the course
of three years
She was an
amazing women
who had great hope
of beating this disease
Despite her
own battle
Lu was committed to
helping others
battling this disease
Many were inspired
and amazed by her
energy
determination
upbeat manor
wit
and unwavering faith
She never wavered
on hope for herself
or for us
I received
a note from Lu
earlier this year
telling me not to worry
about her==
because we had
other women
who needed us
because they
were dealing with this disease
and were scared ~~
She was truly
caring and special
Lu taught
Us all by example
with grace...dignity...courage
and love~~
My life
has been
deeply enriched
because of her
She will be truly
Missed by all
Of us at BC.Org...
But never forgotten~~
Because she
Touched so many
Lives in such
A loving and spirited way
Our angel
Has her wings
and joins our other
angels now...
"Beyond the door
there's peace I'm sure,
And I know there'll
be no more tears in heaven"~~Eric Clapton
May God
be with Lu's family
durning this very
sad and difficult time~~
Lu I will
always miss you
My special
love goes out
to all of you
my board sisters
you are the
best.......
xoxo
Patti
ps
I am hoping
to hear from Debbie
about arrangements..I would
like to send a rose...I will post more
later when I have more details

-
Patti I am so very sad

for LU -
Always lurking but had read a couple of upbeat posts from Luanne and was praying for her to make it. God bless and keep her.
-
I have this
special poem
on a card...I think
Lu would have wanted
us to remember her this way
with love
to all of you
Patti
AFTER GLOW
I'd like the memory
of me to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave
an echo whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun
of happy memories
that I leave when life is done.

The poem is so pretty Patti.
I know she is in heaven with all my heart.
No more suffering for Luanne
She is feeling strong with no pain and no sorrow
and happy. I am picturing her as a beautiful Angel.
But I am sad for those left behind
