Benny know it must be scarey for you, but if it is any help I am totally scared this morning. No 3 and nothing like yours for SE's but my stomach is in a knot and I feel really sick. It is definitely not an experience any of us relish but a means to an end.

You had a dreadful bug and this time I am sure you will be fine. Websister will be there for you she is the best person to have,( wish she was here ).

We will all be there in spirit sure they will treat you with kid gloves to avoid any infection, I carry my own little anti bac hand gel around with me just in case. ( big hug )

How are Benny and Diamond ?

Websister, knew you were !! Nerves vanished, treatment fast and comfortable.Lovely Christmas atmosphere too. Can I book you for no 4 ? x

LesleyAnn, you are the light at the end of our tunnel . Thank you please keep an eye on us x

Traii baby girl, Cyber Mummy is buzzing !! Felt you in my pocket ( standing on your head as usual ) Turned u up right way lol. My 37 year old baby came with me into treatment today. I was bit apprehensive   in case she got distressed but she was amazed by how normal and wonderful it all was.

We then went for lunch with DH and a dear old friend. Back for an afternoon of chatting and laughter. Now chilling before big bowl of home made soup  and crusty bread this evening. Minimal SE's so far :-) but not counting any chickens yet, thirsty so drinking loads to flush everything out. Have protected all exits with Vaseline to stop itchy burning this time.

Hope you had an amazing time, sounds such fun. Prezzie opening in the sun, what bliss.x

Benny, I want to hear that your session was just like mine please.Smaller dose definitely so much better honestly. I just imagined the room full of fellow warriors in armour with Santa Hats eating mince pies and sipping sherry ha ha .

We will be with you and wonderful Websister will make sure you come to no harm. Hope you manage a light lunch maybe to celebrate afterwards. x

Dakota, Hope you had a relaxing day, or as much as being a busy Mum can have. x

    Bearcub, Happy Anniversary xx

Joanne, hi Benny's pockets are going to be so noisy with all of you chattering away. I am doing the on her shoulder bit, as claustraphobic lol x

Traii, looked up mylanta, is it cream or do u slap on the liquid medicine.? Sounds promising getting a collection of things together, can't hack that itchy burning again lol.

Can't believe tongue not furry yet, after lesser dose last time it only lasted half a day.Hope CMF doesn't do that !

Eyes starting to feel gritty with tiredness, it has been a long day.

Hope our Benny and wonderful Websister have a happy and problem free day tomorrow. Prayers to the Great One ,Mother, Father, God going out tonight for them and all the warrior sisters.

Peaceful and SE free hours to you all.

    Namaste Edi X

Edi - I'm sure it's the liquid. It's also a component in "magic mouthwash" for soothing mouth sores (prescription).  Makes sense - soothes the stomach, soothes the bum!  Some may use Maalox instead of Mylanta - pretty much the same thing. If you have one of them I would try it rather than buy something new.  "Liquid anti acid" you prob. having something similar in England. And generic would be just fine for "bum" use.  Wishing you minimal SEs.

luvmygoats, Thank you for that will check in pharmacy.

I have a soft spot for goats as they saved my life as a tiny baby. My mum was breast feeding me. I screamed and screamed no matter how hard she tried.

In desperation she carried me to the baby clinic and put me on the counter. The nurse pinched the flesh of my scraggy little leg and it stayed dented. This child is starving she announced to my poor sobbing Mum. She explained that I was feeding day and night. They tested her milk and it was a watery substance with no nourishment in it at all.

My Dad was dispatched with a prescription for Goats milk and after that I never looked back.

Give your goats a treat with luv from me please x

G'night everyone, early morning tomorrow. Take care.

Edi, Mylanta is an 'anti acid' for your stomach as luvmygoats mentioned......its the liquid formula haven't heard of it as a mouth wash here (then again neither had we for the bum, not like they advertise this) but I too used it on my little munchkin when he had a sore red bum and within the next nappy change he was bum red free !!

I'm hoping this furriness ends as it disguasting and my feet are peeling this time which I'm handling much better then not being able to walk like chemo # 2 did to me....other than that I'm sooooo tired as well. Day 7 and all I want to do is nap....so I did this arvo until my son whom only slept for 1 hour woke me up with the remote on my head saying mum please put it on Peppa Pig... oh damn that Peppa Pig lol.

SO I'm up and making chicken schnitzel, mashed potato & pumpkin, cauliflour and beans for dinner......yummo :)

Great websister, tickets booked its a date Wink Good night ..... have a good sleep :)

Oh Edi your poor mum thinking you were being fed all that time.......just as well they told her not enough.....you would have still been crying...lol......thank goodness for goats!

Hope Benny is feeling much more better this time around and Edi you rest up too cyber mummy :)

Yes, an early morning with me tomorrow! Thank goodness you're meeting me there as I seriously wonder if I'd show up otherwise. I am seriously apprehensive, as you can well understand, after what happened to me the last time. He's changed the epirubicin to doxirubicin (?) and no Flouracil or whatever it is.  But there's an issue with the Neulasta shot as the dern thing is $3000.00 and I only have coverage for 80% of it so might not be able to get that one. $3000.00??!!! Good grief, I could buy another horse with that! Oh yes, and I'm on Zofran for 5 1/2 days instead of one day. So it will be different but he couldn't guarantee I'd avoid the hospital again. He did tell me that he's going for 'curative effect' and not palliative chemo, so that made me feel better. He again said my body responds to this stuff much differently than anything he's ever seen before.

Thanks Joanne, Traii, Edi, Dakota for the pocket protection!

    Bearcub, happy 36th! That's so wonderful <3

Edi, glad to hear this chemo is going so well this time. Benny is back to normal and Diamond is her usual diva self. I bought her a new tail bag yesterday and she looks so good in it. It's animal print, purple and gold with sequins!

Luvmygoats, this one's for you. This is a picture of Nancy, one of our two resident pygmy goats. Isn't she cute?

Oh Benny, I wish I could send you a Neulastra shot from here....we don't pay a thing in Australia.....$3000 is a lot of money.....I just can't believe the difference between our countries.

I really do hope that you don't have the SE's that you had for #1 and it sounds like you have everything organised .

With all of us in your pockets and Websister by your side, you CAN DO THIS and YOU WILL BE FINE.

Benny, know you will be apprehensive in the morning but I really feel that you will be fine this time.

Epirubicin is my poison and luckily still feel ok today but it is middle of the night. Woke up and brain won't stop ticking away.My friend was on Epi and it knocked her sideways, we really don't know what to expect.

Don't be too worried about the chemo, you will be too busy controlling the mad warrior sisters leaping about in your pockets and bouncing up and down on your shoulders. lol

lovely that your babies are both well. Tail bag sounds fabulous.

    Good luck. X

Traii, sorry tongue still yuk :-( and your poor feet too, cream and socks and lots of naps. As many as DS will allow.

Meal sounds yummy hope you can taste it. Hopefully CMF will be easier for you SE wise.

DH has a day of shopping planned, As I have only managed 3 1/2 hrs kip he may have to stick me in the trolley and push me around lol.

    Laters special sisters. Edi X

Hi warrior sisters! I am home and quite amped up on steroids.... BUZZZZZZZZZZ! Had the chemo at 0900 and took two pokes to get it in (ewwwww, Benny not liking that). They gave me the A/C, so we'll see how that goes. So far I am not nauseous and able to eat.

Websister was there waiting for me when I arrived. You know how she seems so nice on the forum? She really is that nice. She is such a warm caring person (she's probably blushing now if she's reading this). She took an opportunity to provide some much needed resources to another lady who was there today too. And she brought me a Christmas present ♥ ♥ ♥. I don't think I would have the courage to go if she wasn't there waiting for me today, especially after the last go-round with chemo. Thank you Websister, you are the best, and I soooo appreciate your caring and support, more than you know.

I keep waiting for the SE to kick in but so far nothing. But I know it's coming, and the waiting is getting to me. Hard to type because my hands are shaking, from steroids I suppose. It really does help knowing that you all are behind me. I don't know what i would have done if I hadn't found this forum. What a God-send!

Okay, I'm off to do up the lunch dishes then wander around here and drink water. Peed red when I got home but it wasn't as red as the last time? TMI?? LOL Got a bit of a headache starting. Oh yes, and after much hoop-jumping, my Neulasta coverage has been approved. That both scares me and makes me happy. Terrified of the pain. I know what the Neupogen did and that was intense; this is expected to be worse, right? Oh dear.

I feel a bit loopy, like I can't carry on a normal conversation haha! Okay, here I go to do dishes, or something productive.

Websister - You exemplify the true Christian spirit - giving selflessly.  Know you have so much in your own personal life and yet you took time to be there for our Benny.  Best Christmas wishes to you.  Hope you get some personal time.  Take care.  (((HUGS))) for both of you.
