Today I had an X-ray and the results suggest lung mets. Bloods and other tests underway and I meet the once next Wednesday.
My heart is so heavy and I can't stop crying.

Awe Keepingfaith (((((hugs)))))) hearing the word mets is something none of us want to hear and hearing those results just before your birthday is indeed heartbreaking. Hoping you get your treatment started soon.
Love n hugs. Chrissy -
Thank you all.
Advice, please on how to deal with a person sending me private emails, questioning symptoms.
I understand that the enauiries maybe to help him deal with a cough that his wife experiencing. However, i find thr timing of these enquiries highly insensitive.
I've requested that he not send me anymore messages. -
Keepingfaith you can set the ignore button on him so you will no longer be able to see anything he posts. You can also ask another member to let him know that his posts to you are not welcome and are upsetting.
Love n hugs. Chrissy -
I am so sorry that this has happened to you...
Hugs from a kiwi sister...

Keepingfaith69, I am soo sorry that you are having this heartbreaking progression. Have they said anything about having a biopsy to confirm? Are they sure this is cancer? As for someone private messaging you about symptoms, I would just send a note directing him to the stage IV to the topic of "those that are not stage IV". I know this person has been concerned and has great love for his wife but is not all that good at "seeing others". My heart is aching for you and I am hoping that they are all wrong...

Dear KeepingFaith, I'm sorry that you are facing this torment on your birthday. I am hoping that the xray is wrong and what is visible is something other than cancer.
Are you on a cancellation list in case you can get in to see your onc sooner? You can also see your GP for emotional support until you can see your onc.
I hope you are getting huge support from your family and are strongly feeling their love today.
I am praying for you and will keep you on my prayer list.
