ITCHING 4 & 1/2 months after RADS!
I was wondering if anyone has had itching months after the itching has stopped from Rads? My first mammo is coming up this Wednesday. I had several intense episodes of itching Before I was DX. Then I had itching with my RADS & within a few weeks of my last treatment they were gone. Well about a month ago the itching started again. It comes & goes. Is quite intense at times. No rash at all & my skin is all normal except a very slight darker shade than my norm. Has anyone else have the itching return? I'm also having more pain & achyness. I know some of this is from the Rads. But some of it feels like what I had before my DX. Just wondering how others are doing months after Rads. Non of it stops me from what I'm doing except the itching at times. So I can find a discreet place to rub my lefty on my ribs!!!! Lol! All in all I just take note of it all & go on.

Hi Julz, I too had/have itching! It was worse for me (post rads) about 4 months out -- my breast was also really swollen for what seemed to be a long time. Now, 6 months later, I feel much better! I hope your itching goes away soon too!!

I know -- it was the oddest thing! The good news is that the pain went away too, I only get sporadic twinges now, for a while I wondered if my breast would ever not hurt.
