Black works for me. I'll avoid the black "save the ta tas" tank top we wore in Vegas. But, I have a lot of black.
Is Ernie's a blue jeans kind of place, or a dress kind of place?
Looking forward to seeing you, again, Julie!
-
Ernie's is a casual place - no worries
-
Hi -
I'm in the Montrose/La Canada area.
I don't know if I can make it this time but I'm going to favorite this thread for future get togethers.
-
I look like death warmed over in all black, so I'll go for some combo of purple and black, how about that. I'll probaby wear my "human" t shirt, it looks like this:

I'll call on Monday and make a reservation for 8 of us and then we can adjust down (or up) as necessary as people arrive or not.
So far we have definitely coming from:
SheChirple
Juli50
Rennasus
Pessa
Maybes are:

Hi Ladies,
Havent kept up. I am in Laverne area most east of Pasadena. Anyone out this way that wants to do dinner or lunch? Even in Upland, Ontario, riverside? Just asking LA pretty far with traffic.
Let me know...need an outing.
Thanks!
-
bcoct.....I am in Riverside....well, Moreno Valley. I'm driving to LA for this. If you would like, I could pick you up, as I will be travelling through your area.
If that doesn't work for you, we could meet at Victoria Gardens sometime. There are quite a few nice places to do dinner or lunch.
PM me
-
Happy Thanksgiving! See you on the 1st.

Hi Sheriple,
I will PM you when I get back from Thanksgiving. Either way is cool.
Thanks,
bcot

I just made our reservation - 8 people at 6:30 on Saturday. If our numbers change drastically, I'll have to change it, so please let us know if your availability has changed.
-
Thanks for doing that.
-
Poor SheChirple had her appendix removed Sunday night. Let's hope for a speedy recovery!!!
Hugs,
Juli
-
Oh no. That doesn't sound like any fun at all. Heal up quick SheChirple!!
-
I am still going to try to make it. I'm feeling pretty good. Thank you.
-
Oh my goodness... if SheChirple can make it than so can I...

To those coming from the west and wanting to carpool. I just found out last night that a friend is having a gathering for another friend's pre-wedding Saturday night. I told them that I'd be late if I felt up to going at all, but it's east of Ernie's so I can't carpool anymore. I'm sorry. I'm definitely looking forward to dinner with you all.
-
bcoct - I see doctor tomorrow. If I'm okay to drive, I will be going. So, yes, I can pick you up in Claremont. PM me your number and I'll call.
Mary
-
SheChirple, you are amazing! Please take care of yourself. Hope to see you Saturday but if not, then def. next gathering!
-
Thanks, Renn. I think all of us are pretty amazing. I was hesitant earlier this year to jump on board the TA TA Sisterhood Las Vegas trip. But, it was so wonderful to meet the group of ladies who really understand what we have been/are going through. I don't want to miss any opportunity.
I have several people IRL who have BC and I am lucky to be able to talk to them. However, it's just nice to spend time with others who understand, even without discussing.
-
Hi Mary,
Guessing your dr. felt it was soon to drive? We can always try VG in the future. Im thinking lot of crazy traffic in the rain tomorrow anyhow.
Talk soon,
B
-
I'm in! I made it through today with no pain meds. Driving on meds is a no-no. So, now that I am med free, I'm gonna make it!!!
I'm looking forward to meeting you all, and seeing my roomie again!

bcoct: I did that research. One of many rare side effects of Keflex use is Kidney disease, kidney failure and hepatitis (inflamedkidney). I am so glad you are past that. NEVER take Keflex again!
I'll be thinking of you Monday and hope you get your chemo started.
if you don't mind, I'll add you to the prayer list.
