Nipple piercing after chemo/rad ?

I've had a difficult time finding any info on this, probably since its not a mainstream thing.is it possible to get ones nipples pierced after treatment or will the healing be affected by the change in the tissue from the radiation?

    wow, beats me but ask the BS

    I would hate any more surgery than requiered and worry about infection and lymphedemia

    then again, I am not a piercing person

    Just to think far enough ahead to enjoy the crazy whims of life is an expression of taking charge. I'n mot a piercer either but it's probably safer than tattoos so be ready for warrier infection fighting but first --- consult your doctor!
