Best Day for Chemo?

I had my first (of 4) chemo infusions on 11/16, a Thursday, and it occurs to me, rather belatedly, that there might be a best day to have them.  It looks like mine will fall on Wednesdays from now on, which works logistically for me....but is there a better day, and why?  Perhaps for someone setting up a schedule it might be good info.

    I had chemo on thursday and the neulasta shot of friday. That worked better for me. I guess it just depends on where you work and if you have a flex schedule.

    Hi Ann,



    I have mine on Thursday's. I'm on a steroid high for Friday so I'm able to go to work. Then I start winding down. It seems as if Monday and Tuesday of the following week are my worst days being very tired and chemo brained but I have still been able to work. I make myself take a nap in my car at lunchtime which really helps. Everyone reacts different. You just have to pick your day and go with it. Drink lots of water during chemo and after. Really helps push the toxins through and helps me with chemo brain.

    Depends on the person,  but I felt most tired on days 3-5. I had chemo on Tuesdays, so by Friday, I was taking it easy and resting up over weekend.
