    Thanks, hugz

I am hoping I will like it. I know the JUZO felt like a vice and had me screaming uncle in no time. I do suspect I am compression senstive, as you put it.  I'm acutely aware that proper vit is of vital importance, but to me compliance comes first.  If you cant live with a glove or  sleeve because you find them too unsightly or uncomfortable it means nothing.

At the worst, people will not comply/  wear them.  At best, people will wear them and become depressed.

I'm determined to find the best fit for me that I can live with. (fingers crossed !)

It might be ugly beige, hugs, just what I said when I first saw the Medi95 glove which came in a moccha color (Do they think that just because I live in the Middle East, there aren't any lighter- skinned people?) In the end I had to return that one anyway, because it hurt. That's why I hope that the Farrow will NOT hurt. I know it's very light compression but while I am still bandaging with a compression bandage, I do it so lightly that I don't think Farrow will be worse. The most important thing is that it does at least what the gauze and compression bandages do for me now, w/o hurting. I already got to a stage where I say who cares about color - if only I had a glove and not those bandages. II sometimes feel I am rolling and wrapping half the day!

I hope the new size comes in early this week. I will let all of you know. I do think that the idea of gauntlet and glove is not a bad one. It all depends on how much pressure you need to keep the  swelling down.

I don't know if I wrote this here on the forum, but one of my relatives who wore a sleeve and glove for NINE years, now goes without (other than flying) after she swam a few times a week for a long time. Apparently it worked great for her, because her LPT (same as mine) told her the measurements stayed the same and she is doing well. There is hope apparently. Wishing all of us the same! May we stay "swell" but not "swollen".

My first glove was like  a VICE and made my hand swell soemthing terrible.  Common sense told me there was too much compression which was my first reason for  wanting the Farrow.

The second is the color, yes, and I dont apologize for it either. I am sure there are LOTS of women out there like me (hence the reason why lymphedivas has become popular) I dont want women who have already lost so much to feel guilty because they might like a brown or black glove.  Nothing wrong with that !

Yes, I feel terrible for those who wrap - I may end up being one of them. None of us know.

For now, I am looking for  effectiveness, comfort and color - in that order.

Sure wish I knew how to swim!

To all those who helped me on this thread - I finally have a glove that works a Farrow, and I am really happy to have to wrap only at night. My LPT also showed me properly how to do MLD so I am all set to manage on my own. So thank you everyone for your encouragement and help.
