question about Integrative holistic Dr

Hi Stephanie! There are so many things you can do! I would start with doing an alkaline diet. If you do a search for that you will prob find many lists that you can choose one and print it out. It will tell you what foods are acid and what foods are alkaline and you want to try for 80 percent alkaline, 20 percent acid. Alkaline water is another thing you can do to bring up the alkalinity in your body.
You can get a vitamix or a nutribullet high speed blender and make smoothis with veggies and fruits. I find it helpful to be able to get in the veggies that I need but don't like by adding fruit to it. You could also add chia seeds with the holistic dr told me.
Then there are a lot of supplements that are very helpful in fighting cancer. For example, vit D, turmeric, boswellia, selenium. Those are the ones I take and the ladies will surely post more suggestions. A lot of ladies take DIM, which is a natural alternative to the AIs if you have ER+ cancer.
There's lots of info on the alternative board if you browse through that too. I wish you well and I'm anxious to see more replies. I am always looking for something that could help. I really believe in this stuff and I met a lady who healed herself of a very bad cancer and was given 4-6 months to live and that was 11 years ago. She does the alkaline diet and water, and essiac tea and whole slew of supplements that I cannot afford! -
Dear HLB,
I can see you have really done your homework. I applaud you. We are our own best advocates. I totally agree with your final decisions. There is one more thing I would like to add to your list. Organic dairy if any at all. Yours and my cancers are hormone related. Most cows are our enemy. They have added hormones, antibiotic injections, and are milked while they are pregnant(more hormones). Who even knows what some of them are fed. Check up on it, I'm sure you will be able to weed out the good and the bad. I wish you Grace.
6 years cancer free!

Thank you Sharon! I totally quit dairy. It wanst too hard because I never used milk. Oh wait....PIZZA! The one thing I allow myself to cheat with once a week lol! Yes I have heard of all the awful things given to cows. Even with organic its still a cow and they have their own hormones. My homework seems like its never done. I'm obsessed with researching and I find something new almost every day. I can't afford all this stuff but I feel I need to do everything possible! Hopefully it will be enough. Awesome that you are six years!!!!!
