A BC Thanksgiving...

Options

As Thanksgiving is right around the corner I was making my mental list of the things I am thankfull for.  Of course the usual things are there. My family and friends who've rallied round etc. But there are a few things only you folks can really understand and appriciate:

A week(heck a day) with no appointments.

The wrinkles in my hand.

A really well fitted compression garment.

Dolman sleeves and offset necklines are in.

A job with flexible hours.  As long as I get the work done, I can come and go as I please.

A good nights sleep (rare though it is)

My canine walking buddies.

What are you thankful for?

Oh, and BC.ORG.  I do not know what I would have done without you!

I am thankful for my family and friends of course.  I am very very thankful that I am alive and have a fair quality of life. I am thankful for the good days. I am thankful for BCO.  I hope you all know how much this site means to me and so many others. Hugs, Mazy

I am most thankful for my husband, who has been with me every step of the way. My 3 kids who keep me going whether I want to or not. My 3 dogs who laid with me in bed during my recovery. I am also thankful for my PS who will help me feel whole again one day. Last but not least I am thankful that I get to wake up everyday, giving me the opportunity to live my life to the fullest.

I'm thankful to my nagging mother who made me get my first mammo which led to the discovery of the DCIS.

"Around this time I found www.breastcancer.org, which became my lifeline to a whole community of women dealing with breast cancer".

    RK85:

You forgot to mention the other community of women dealing with breast cancer who gave generously of their time in your support, 320 replies under your topic!, and served as a lifeline every bit as much, or more so, than bco?
