I had to share this with those of us who have been dumped by our insurance companies. It may also save money for those of you who are lucky enough to still have insurance. Hope this is helpful! Kroger pharmacy wanted almost $400 for the generic of Arimidex. Costco offers it for $21.22. Can you believe that? If you have info for drug or treatment savings, please share. Costco also has a prescription savings plan you can join.

BTW there are other unexpected discount programs. I.e. AAA (the auto club) has a discount program at Walgreen's. Our city offers a discount card too. Maybe ask the pharmacist if there are special programs??

Yes, I don't have prescription coverage so called around because I will be starting the generic for Arimidex next week. For a 90 day supply, I got quotes of $300.00 (Walmart), $185.00 (Meijer), and $54.20 for Costco! WOW!

A lot of drug suppliers (not manufacturers) offer copay assitance for certain drugs in disease class, too. Google Breast Cancer Copay Assitance. Depending on your income and financial situation, you may be able to get your co-pays paid up to a certain cap.
