Pocket ready, just keep your eye out for the nearest bathroom. Don't let me in if I bring chocolate.
-
In your pocket ridergirl!!!
Cindy -
Me too but I'll have to excuse myself for a little while for a doctor's appointment.
-
Wow gonna be quite the party:-) thanks ladies
sas i'll make sure about the bathroom and i'll take care of the chocolate for u ;-) its one of the only things that still tastes good -
Rider....in your pocket and bringing my P-P-P-Poker Face! Glad the info helped!
-
I'll bring the asparagus and bounty. WHOOPS! Wrong thread.
-
Veggy....Asparagus and Bounty is totally welcome here!!!!! Bring it girl....puff puff pass!!
-
VEGGY, you look very snuggy for sure. DUNE, for a minute there, you were sounding like a plane crash. I was worried about your heart. But I think your solutions make sense and you will feel more relaxed, especially if you can squeeze in SOME kinda counseling appointment in there. I hear Johns Hopkins is supposed to be a top place, but you're closer and know their situation better.
RIDER, I like the sound of that poker game. Back when I used to drink and smoke pot, a bunch of us were in this big living room with a couple big tables pushed together, a fireplace, blinds were pulled down because sun was coming in, so all the smoke was floating around like clouds. This was bigger than nickel, dime, quarter, so money was all around. So,we got decks of cards all over the place, a pile of chips in the middle of the table, cards up everywhere, a few were drinkng from liquor bottles, my beer, we were all having a pretty good time except the guy that was mad cuz he was losing that particular game, and in comes a couple who knew us all very well, and the man in the couple goes, ""Well, what have we here, a poker game?" And that mad guy goes, "No, we're playing Old Maid, can't you tell???" Hahaahaha. A couple of us reached our limit and sat on the couch and sifted thru some albums and chatted until it got pretty dark, and husband was finally ready to go. Oh, I did love those games!!! GG
-
Sounds like good time!
Veggy my love you bring whatever you like :-) -
Ill come but u gotta put me in a zip lock bag..
Made everyone here sick. -
You still sick grannydukes??? I do believe I am going to the Minute Clinic in the morning. It's in my chest and not really moving. I'm wiped. I don't think I can fight this on my own.
Best wishes for the chemo veggy and rider. I do love how you all support each other. I haven't had the "pleasure" but I imagine it is quite the ordeal. Keep your spirits up!!! The pocket parties are a great idea for chemo. I'm coming along too.
-
I'm a drive by fuzzy contributor but can I come too!
-
Adey...of course honey!!!! Once you're in the Romp Room...you're in the Romp Room!
GG....please update!! Dunes and Granny too!!
I was so down yesterday over something so stupid...DH ran into his ex. Now, this broad is bad chicken for real. Just for a taste, she sent her kids to school one day, moved to California with a married man...secretly...got busted and was FORCED to return. But, DH was crazy about her back in the day and now I'm this weakened, broken, scarred up disaster waiting to happen....I just felt really aweful. Better today though. Much better today. Just gotta process shit sometimes I guess.
Headed to my MH appt Today. Then to see mama and a friend! I think today is going to be a good day...:) -
"Bad chicken" Love it!
Hope today is a very good day.
-
-
Fuzzy, Don't worry. Those bad chickens are fascinating at first and then you see the true colors. I love the term also. We recently had a family funeral where everyone was nervous about the bad chicken first wife causing a scene. Thankfully, she did not.
-
I got here late, but made the long jump to the party. (Veggy and Rider - just think of each chemo as one more day closer to being DONE!) Chemo sucks!
Careful if you've never taken Benadryl - I'm the 1% who get sleepy for 10 minutes on Benadryl and then get the WORST restless leg and axiety from it. Not good.
Have a great weekend all!
-

Granny....hope you feel better soon! Have some hot water and honey...I'm addicted to that with a little coconut oil in it...super yummy...
Just got home and DH is sick too. Body aches and fever. I apologized to him for my depression yesterday over Bad Chicken. Kinda silly...but, kinda painful at the same time! LOL
-
Granny be careful , if symptoms change or worsen get thee to the doc L&H's
Hey Adey, driving by is fine , but stop and visit too.
Fuzzy, I guessed wrong.16 hrs with 1-3/10 pain I took the patch off. 1 1/2 hrs later I can tell it was a mistake.
-
Oh dear....now I'm worried....
-
I have bronchitis. I knew I felt bad! Hopefully, tomorrow I'll start feeling better. Have antibiotics and cough meds in pill form. I'm upping my regular dose of certain supplements too. You all take care. I can feel myself getting sleepy.
-
Dunes....yucky stuff girl!!! Rest up!!!! Get well soon!!!!
-
Sorry, DUNE, that you have bronchitis. It's easily as bad as pneumoia. I've had both. A humidifier can be expensive, but it's great to turn it on a cople hours before whever you sleep... I learned that becuz I turned it on waaaay too early, and I woud up with so many REAL clouds in there, I thought it was going to start lightening. Well, you being sick, it figures, just when you're about to work on your life, well then, life keeps right on crashing through like a freight train.
I didn't have a Friday. This happens a lot to me. Husband less so. I couldn't possibly tell you where it went. I probably woke up too early, and then slept right thru yesterday a little later on. I'm feeling rather well, as I have been. Around the turn of the year I'm going to finish cleaning this unbelievably messed up house and gotta get some weight off. Altogether, that should put me in pretty much perfect shape! Just about time for spring. THEN maybe I can TRY to write some of my short stories, for as we all know, we just don't know when death is gonna get us. I watched some more of the trailer for "The Life of Pi," whch I believe will be in theaters the day before Thanksgiving coming up, and I think it will be a stunning movie to look at, so hope some of you movie-goers get to go.
Fuzzy, I'm sorry you keep having these little trips into "I hate all you people" land. That's what President Obama's Chief of Staff in his first term said when they let the press into the West Wing to see all the activities, and Rahm was trying to get to a meeting, and the press was apparently in the way, and as he just shoved into them, he goes, "I hate all of you people," and closed the door! I just loved his bravado. Fuzz, I know how you feel, I've felt that way many, many times, and I have no earthly idea why it comes and goes. I guess it's just life's trash. I suppose you could like thy trash after all. Or fold it into a little butterfly and watch it blow away in the wind. Or find the right place to rant, find the good in even trash... just throw it away! Love GG

GG: I think the butterflies in the wind is perfect!! I'm happy to tell ya that I know where all that comes from...exactly where it comes from...and its false. A few bad people laid little eggs in the part of my brain that has feelings and those little suckers are just hard to be rid of. They'll be gone as soon as I figure out how to do it. When I get a "trigger" those little eggs take over and mess me up...its really trauma...but, I will defeat it...its been over a year long battle and I've definitely made progress. Pssssh! I've got the greatest support system to be found - right here and with my family....I couldn't ask for anything else. And, you my love, taking care of me from so far away, means the world to me.
Good morning RR's!!! Lets give this weekend a reason to wish for Monday!!!! -

Kisses back at cha!!
