trial: low-dose tamoxifen

Options

I know several members here have wondered if anyone is studying low dose regimes. Here's one trial I ran across.

Peggy- wow thanks for finding this! Very interesting- I don't qualify but its fascinating that NIH.... are willing to do study 5mg....

It would be great if good results came from a low dose.

Peggy- let us move this on...

I'm glad they are looking at this. If it were a stage III clinical trial instead of a stage II trial, I might be interested. Except for the fact that they want women with clearly defined menopausal status....I started laughing when I saw how they define this. It seems to leave out the 45-55yr age group. Oh well. I actually have my MOs blessing to use the 10mg dose & if things get worse for me I will.

Peggy-thanks so much for posting this.

Great. Glad it was helpful to post. I ran across it when I was searching for something else in the big clinical trials database on cancer.gov (so there may be other trials testing tamox doses)

Now if anyone knows of a trial where I can get a free screening B-MRI .... ;)
