Hi! I was diagnosed with lupus 9 years ago and God healed me! I have no pain or take no medications. I have annual check up and everything is normal. Four weeks ago, I found a lump on my left breast. I'm 47 years old, I have 3 boys, breastfed all of them. Just 3-4 months ago, my left breast was itching, so bad, I had marks from scratching myself. The itching stopped. Then I found a lump. It hurts, I feel stabbing pain from my left  to my nipple. My mammogram, ultrasound and MRI came back negative. My doctor referred me to a breast surgeon. Is it possible to have a negative mammogram and have bc? I'm confused, tired, in pain and don't know what to do.

Hi! Yes, I went to a breast surgeon and he doesn't think I need a biopsy. Didn't gave me medication for my pain either. I asked him if he could give me a script for blood test (BRAC) but he said to consult my doctor. He thinks my pain is probably my hormones, since I'm 47. I don't know. I'm still in pain, it hurts so much it interrupts my "life". I guess I'm going to a second opinion. Are you getting an MRI done?

    Good Morning Ladies,

I'm in the same boat.  All three tests have come back negative, but the lump behind my nipple is there and rock hard.  My nipple has started to refract and a strange rash has also started.

    Any advise.

    Val

I was wondering if any of you have any new news.  I too have pain in my left breast (no lump yet) and had a normal mammogram and ultrasound.  My MRI is tomorrow.  I'm wondering what my next step should be if that comes back normal but I still continue to have pain.

Hi ladies: I think you should post in "Not Diagnosed but Concerned" forum. You will meet up with more women going through what you are right now... and may have helpful suggestions.

This forum is for women who have been diagnosed with a form of breast cancer known as Triple Negative, meaning it does not show receptivity to either of two hormones or express her2.
