Go Small

I had a BMX with no recon 5 years ago.  Was fitted by a professional for a Size 4 prosthesis which felt huge so I wore a leisure form which was weightless.  Finally realized that the Size 4 was too large and went with a Size 1 Anita which feels right.  Just fyi, if your prosthesis feels too large, it is.  Only took me 5 years to figure it out.

So true! I also realised that I had been supplied with prostheses that were the ugliest saggiest lumps I had ever seen and the moment I wore them I had the figure of a woman in her 80s who had breastfed 10 kids.

Better late than never! Glad you finally found what works for you. I have Anita forms in both size 2 and 3 (the 3 is so much bigger than the 2)--I'm six years out from surgery, so have accumulated a few different forms. I find that, given the top I'm wearing, sometimes the 2 feels right and sometimes I prefer the 3. I've also noticed that now that the weather has cooled off, I'm wearing my silicone forms much more. In the summer, I almost always opt for the leisure foam forms.
