New patient need help please
Thanks for reading my post.My mother had two mammogram and one ultra sound. Now , the Doctor said for biopsy on Wednesday. He said 85% chance is Breast cancer. She has very pain in her breast. There is a lump.
I did lot of search . I came to know she has to avoid beef luamp and suger. Vegetables, fruits and nuts are good for her.
I tried but did not find about few things .Please let me know can she eat chiken , turkey ,honey , milk ?
Are things have to be organic?
Thanks for all replies.

Oh, Zohra. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. There are many people who focus on eating certain foods, but a lot of that depends on the TYPE of breast cancer you have. I would give mom whatever she likes that will make her feel good right now. If she does get a diagnosis of breast cancer, you'll then find out if she's estrogen receptor positive or negative, and progesterone receptor positive or negative. From there, you can decide to avoid certain foods that affect estrogen and progesterone. For now, just give mom some love. A week of eating in any particular way isn't going to change a thing.
Good luck. I hope that your mom is in the 15% the doc thought could be negative.

Thanks Profbee for asking. Yes , she is diagnosis with breast cancer (ILC) . She done with CT chest and bone scan. It comes clear. Cancer did not speared other parts of body. Only lymph node. ( I don't know more about nodes) Now there is appointment with oncologist on Friday.

I'm sorry, Zohra. It's good that it hasn't spread and her scans are clear. Best of luck on Friday. I'm glad you found us here to help you along this journey.
